The Film

Harvest Moon is a suspense/thriller set among the landscape of small town America. It's focused around the love of two young people who end up in the middle of a small town blood bath, and asks the question. How far will you go to bring back what you've lost?

This will be shot in the vein of "No Country for Old Men" with a hitchcock feel. Bringing suspense and terror out of the depths of the viewer's mind. 

We are shooting and delivering in 4K using all practical stunts and effects. We strive for realism and that's what we get. 

This isn't another hack and slash teen horror, this will be a suspenseful masterpiece and we want you to be a part of it.

Not only will it bring us closer to our full production costs but it will also allow us to connect with our fanbase and spread the word about Harvest Moon even further. Our Team

Our team is a mixture of superb visual artists, special effects masters, and skilled leaders who have worked on everything from "Castle to August: Osage County". We work as a community to create beautiful and entertaining works of art that appeal to a wide audience and offer a great experience. We have over 50 years of combined film and TV experience as well as some of the top mentors in the industry. 

We fully support the local workforce, so to fill out the rest of our team we're hiring local Oklahomans who have been underutilized in the film industry. 

What We Have

Our list keeps getting bigger and bigger. We have an awesome script, and an amazing director and DP. We've been able to lock down almost 95% of our locations in and around Enid OK. That includes an old city jail, a 100 year plus church, and of course the grain elevator. 

We have awesome production equipment, shooting on the RED Epic using DJI Ronin Gimbals, helicopter drones, cranes, jibs, and many more. 

We have an awesome list of local Oklahoma production people with many years of experience. 

We have the massive support of the Enid community as well as the Oklahoma Film Commission. 

Most importantly we have the never stopping drive to succeed. 

What We Need

You! And your ability to spread the word about the film. Once you become part of the Harvest Moon Team tell others to do the same. Before long we'll all be sitting in the theater eating popcorn and gripping our neighbor tight as the suspense builds. Best of all you'll know you made it happen. 

Where the Money Goes

Every cent of this money will go directly into the production. 

We have food costs, housing costs, crew payments, grip and lighting rentals, prop design, set design, advertising... The list keeps going. Long story short, it takes money to make a movie, but it takes a bigger chunk of money to make it amazing. With all the locations and favors, we're getting a good $750,000 worth of extra production value that goes directly into the film. 

When you add all that up, the value far exceeds the costs to make this amazing movie. 

We have a good chunk of our budget already secured, but it's not quite enough to bring this amazing film to the big screen. 

We're going to be pushing this campaign past its benchmark and when we double our goal the bells will ring as sad children all over the world begin to play again. We'll be able to secure theatrical distribution (already in talking with 3 distribution companies) and will be holding massive block parties all over the US. Of course you're invited. 

Get ready to see some awesome stunts and big name talent jump in that we're in negotiations with. (trust me, this is more than worth it especially if you're one of the lucy people to come to set)  

Risks & Challenges

As with any film there will be unforeseen challenges and obstacles to overcome, but I assure you that we will never stop until we have our finished film in all it's glory. 

This is what we do, this is our love, and this is what we're great at.
