SHORT SUMMARY

What if we could create spaces in Black communities across the country that would train and develop Media, Arts & Technology creatives and air their creative work on BOP TV generating revenue and growing the neighborhood around it by creating jobs and driving entrepreneurship?

This is being done not to drive gentrification but instead allows people to see their neighborhood through new eyes... To be inspired. 

BOP TV started in 2013 and over the last 8 years, it has been an amazing ride! We grew to almost 2 million daily viewers  worldwide and became the largest Black owned streaming network in the world.

WHY A CAMPAIGN?

We have been renting from various property owners for 8 years. Now we have a chance to give our little piece of magic a permanent home. The School District has agreed to sell us the building and we are under contract. That means we'd not only have a permanent space but the ability to build out an incredible studio facility to support Media, Arts & Technology training, productions and events.  We tried Indiegogo many years ago and while we did not have great success at that time, we learned a lot. We pulled a team together that we feel will do a great job helping us with the campaign.

THE DETAILS

To buy our building, we just need just $35,000 more to cover our down payment. By pitching in to our campaign, you will get access to some pretty amazing perks and a chance to ensure that this amazing space can thrive.

WHO IS BOP TV?

Those familiar with BOP TV know that it is much more than a streaming network. We are a place where people can explore their gifts, build community with others and invest in our folks. BOP TV also provides Media, Arts and Technology training for all ages with a focus on youth. 

There are not enough spaces where we can see and experience the fullness of Black Joy everyday. With 30+ channels covering everything from HBCU's to Business, to Movies and our own retail merchandise shop, our community comes together and shows out!
