Hola!

My name is Beaker, and this Fall I’m going to be joining the Esperanza familia! That’s right, I’ll be part of Esperanza College as its very first mascot! Just like Esperanza College students, I live a life of faith and want to help Hunting Park. As some of you may know, I’m also the Eastern University mascot, and right now my closet is only filled with Eastern pride. I really want to rep Esperanza though, so Esperanza College is raising $3,300 so I can show off my school pride: Will you give a gift today?

I’ve been thinking a lot recently about what it means to live a life of faith and be a servant of God in Latino Philadelphia, and I can’t wait to meet all of you so you can teach me more.

As Esperanza College’s first mascot, I am inspired by each of you—YOU are the hands and feet of this community. I’ll wear this suit because I hope to walk (or soar) humbly with you in Christ, and help others learn about Esperanza College so we can make the world a better place!

I couldn’t do this without YOU, so I worked with the college to put together some gifts for you to receive when you donate to my new suit.
