The Tevoda Foundation was founded in January of 2013 in the United States and incorporated as a charity organization in the State of Delaware. The Tevoda Foundation is apolitical and dedicated solely to the dental health care of the working women of Cambodia.

Rather than reinvent the wheel, the Tevoda Foundation uses existing infrastructure to provide dental care to our clients. Partnering with quality local providers, the Tevoda Foundation identifies working and fully employed women in need, transports them to the appropriate facility, and pays for the treatment. The Foundation works with our clients every step of the way, from simple one day check ups to more serious, multiple visit procedures.

Since 2013, the Tevoda Foundation has helped dozens of women get their oral hygiene needs met by fully funding their dental treatment.  The Foundation used this three year period as a proof of concept.  We did not want to begin by soliciting for donations for what we planned or hoped to do, we simply self funded to demonstrate what we are doing and will continue to do in the future.

Sophea, a young woman working as a waitress in Phnom Penh was our first major client in 2013.  Sophea was 26 years old, but had the oral hygiene of a much older and neglected woman.  Her teeth were in shockingly poor condition.  Her health was deteriorating as a result of continued infections and was in desperate need of quality dental care, which she could never hope to afford, considering her monthly salary averaged only $120 US dollars per month.  Partnering with a local provider over the course of three months, Sophea's teeth were successfully repaired.  This one case was in excess of $3600 US dollars, but she now has a higher standard of health and general well being she never thought she would ever have.

The Tevoda Foundation would like you to partner with us as we move forward into our next stage of development.  At this time we are applying for 501(c)3 status in the United States, rebuilding our website, and moving forward with providing funding for the continued dental needs of Cambodian women, the backbone of Cambodian society.

With your generous donation, you can help us grow the Tevoda Foundation into the premier dental foundation in the region.
