Short Summary
Josh Jensen is a Salt Lake City born and raised singer/songwriter who creates powerful original music for our times; songs that you will not forget. As an artist, Jensen strives to create an authentic emotionally-charged musical journey; a look into the life of someone who has dealt with severe mental illness, religious-trauma, drug-abuse, accepting his sexuality, and tries to find and share applicable lessons learned from it all. Lyrically, he discusses philosophical life mysteries and his deepest inner mind. His vision for the world is to promote world peace and a spirit of radical love and acceptance for all people regardless of gender identity, race, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, or personality. Currently working on a full album and crowd-raising funds to help fund the recording and production, Josh is passionate about bringing his musical message to the world.
Personal note from Josh
It is my dream to make an album discussing mental health issues in our society.
I’m a music producer, a singer, and a songwriter, who is working hard to fund the creation of this album; but with today’s economic realities, it’s an uphill battle. I don’t want to give up my dream or the opportunity to reach listeners who need to hear this message.
It would mean the world to me if people could donate to help me make this album. It’s always been a dream of mine to make a positive impact on the world through music. Now, I hope to use my voice to share my personal journey from trauma to mental illness to self acceptance in the hopes that it will help others find their own way through it all.
Basically, I need some help funding my projects. I have connected virtually with several producers who are interested in working with me but I need to gather the funds to make it happen.
The producers I've connected with have worked with artists such as Sam Smith, One Direction, Sam Cooke, Jennifer Lopez, Miley Cyrus, Ryan Tedder, The Neighborhood, Green Day, Eminem, Cee Lo Green, and many others. They charge on average $500 per song since I'm a brand new artist. A full album with 10 songs would be around $5000. Any amount would be so SO appreciated!

What I need: assistance from the community who care about mental health, and helping those who have been traumatized grow into self acceptance, to help me fund this important creative project. What You Get: My appreciation and the appreciation of those who need to hear this music. Donations over $50 get an advance copy of the music before it is released to the public, and thank you’s on social media.
