Short Summary
The pets of Marquette County need help. We are a team of Northern Michigan University students that have been asked to help with the general operations of the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter. Donations will go to help animals get medical care, food, warmth, and keep the building up and running. UPAWS is a no-kill shelter that is committed to finding every eligible pet a forever-home.
This campaign also helps students learn how to run an advertising campaign. By donating you will be helping to encourage other business students in their future careers and give them real life experience.
What We Need & What You Get
Our goal is to raise a minimum $3,000 by the end of April. All funds go directly to the shelter and go into their general operations fund. This fund is used for almost all of their activities including food and supplies for the animals, utility bills, office supplies, and promotions to help raise awareness for the shelter. At the end of the day our goal is to help UPAWS keep the animals happy and healthy while they wait to be adopted.
We have exciting perks available including tickets to a Groove MQT show, surprise email, your name on Facebook, stationary and magnet set, glass water bottle, and window cling.
The Impact
We are trying to help UPAWS stay an animal sanctuary. The mission is to raise enough money to keep the animals happy and healthy while they wait for their family to arrive.
UPAWS makes a great effort to maintain their no kill shelter. They also offer services to spay and neuter pets. By making a donation to UPAWS you will be improving the life of an animal while it waits for its forever home. UPAWS takes pride in evaluating and socializing pets while they are in the shelter to make sure that every pet that is adopted is suited for their new home. Their new families are happier for having people that really get to know the animal and making sure that they fit together just right.
