Tara's Organic Ice Cream is growing!

We currently have scoop shops in Berkeley and Oakland CA and sell pints in 30+ natural grocery stores in California.  We are receiving inquiries from shops and restaurants that want to offer our ice cream to their customers and customers who want to see our ice cream in their local grocery stores PLUS we are working on opening a third shop in Pleasenton CA but need your help to get there.  We are running on a bootstrap budget with only 1 machine that produces all of this product in small batches of 2 or 3 gallons at a time and making all the deliveries with our own personal vehicles.

What we need:

• Capacity!  We need a 2nd machine to double our productivity and have a back-up option should our only hard-working machine ever need service. It's a necessary purchase to take Tara's Organic Ice Cream to the next level.
• Mobility!   We need a fuel-efficient, dedicated delivery vehicle to be able to service the growing wholesale business as well as support our 3rd shop opening this summer in Pleasanton CA!

The Fine Print on Perks

Cone Certificates:  If your perk includes a cone certificate, you will be able to pick it up at Tara's Organic scoop shop locations in Berkeley, Oakland, or coming soon to Pleasenton CA. 

T-Shirts: If you are one of the lucky few to get a TOIC Tshirt, It will be available for pickup at the Berkeley location, or we will happily mail it to you anywhere.  Supplies are limited.

Online Thanks:  We will be thanking all our Contributors on www.tarasorganic.com and our facebook page .  The Platinum Funders will include a link if you like and Angel Funders will also include a photo or logo if you like.

Custom-Made Cakes: 7 Days notice for order; pickup in Berkeley only.

IndidGoGo Pint Club:  If your perk includes membership in our indiegogo pint club, you will get a pint club card to bring in when you pick up your pint at any TOIC scoop shop.  Pint clubs include 1 pint per month for up to one year from May  2013 – May 2014.  If you have a 4 month card, you can come in to pick up a pint in any 4 months, months do not need to be consecutive.  Sorry, no rollover pints.

Ice Cream Socials:  If your perk includes an Ice Cream Social, you will be able to bring your friends into any TOIC scoop shop and each person can order any item with a topping (up to $10 value per person; excluding pints and cakes).  Must be scheduled 7 days in advance.

Ice Cream House Party:  Valid within a 60 minute drive from the Berkeley shop.  Must be scheduled 30 days in advance and will be subject to Tara's availability.  Blackout dates will apply if there is a street festival, fair or farmer's market that Tara needs to attend.  Otherwise, we will do all we can to accommodate you and look forward to serving you whatever you like!

Private Tastings:  Invitation for two people to attend a private TOIC tasting event hosted by Tara.  Tastings will including 5 flavors (which we'll agree on beforehand with your input).

Ice Cream Shipments:  If your perk includes a shipment of ice cream, the destination must be in the continental US.  You can choose from the following shipping dates for two-day shipping: June 3, September 3, December 3 2013 and March 3, 2014. 

Your Own Flavor:  If your perk includes a custom flavor, we can either create any flavor you like or consult with you to dream up the right flavor for you.  This flavor will be certified organic by CCOF named by you or after you.  (subject to approval)

All perks are valid until May 31, 2014 and will be honored at Tara's Organic scoop shops in Berkeley, Oakland, and coming soon to Pleasenton CA.
