Hello! We are Outbound Road, a Southern Rock band from Central Florida, and we are looking for financial help to bring an incredible music video to life for our new single. Holy Water (Walking with You). Here's a brief sample of it:

This song is a rewrite of the 1990 multiplatinum hit, Holy Water, from the band Bad Company, written by Brian Howe and Terry Thomas.
Before Brian's passing, he asked us to rewrite Holy Water to cross genre lines and give the song a more positive, impactful message. We did just that in his honor and couldn't be more proud of the track we've created.
With so many songs flooding the internet these days, it's vital to have a strong video to accompany ours and to further connect our audience to the song's message. We are completely independent, not working with any record label and funding this entirely ourselves, so we are asking for your help.
SYNOPSIS
The music video follows the story of our Hero, a young man living in grief, beaten down by years of pain and suffering.
When, on his lowest day, he meets a mysterious Young Woman in white who leads him to the water, giving him the opportunity of transformation and rebirth…
if he’s willing to take the step.
VISION & MISSION
Our vision is to create a cinematic, beautiful, and moving video to accompany such an inspiring rerecording of this new take on a hit song. We will use mostly natural light, highlighting the golden rays of sun streaking through the trees and bouncing off the dark blue water, the ideal backdrop for our hero to wander through as he searches for his mysterious, ghostly company.
Our hope is that viewers will feel empowered in their abilities to take control of their lives and find peace with letting go of the past and taking a bold step toward a vision for a fulfilling future. The theme of rebirth is paramount to the song and lyrics which will be honored in the video as our hero boldly steps into the water, ready for the baptism of his mind and spirit.
When he emerges from the water, our hero is transformed into a new version of himself… A version filled with hope, faith, determination, and a commitment to bringing joy into the world.
Healing was in his hands, he just had to be willing to take that step.
MEET THE TEAM
AJ JONES - DIRECTOR
AJ Jones is a director and writer who grew up in Central Florida. His debut feature film, The Curse of La Patasola, was released in theaters by Vertical Entertainment in 2022 and is currently streaming on the STARZ Network. His recent music video directing work includes Bones and The Long Goodbye for singer-songwriter Erik Winger, as well as live promotional work for national musical acts with Metropolis Productions and Entertainment Central Productions. AJ also just released a proof of concept short film, YOUNGBLOOD, starring Patrick R. Walker, about a vocalist in the Central Florida heavy metal scene, which is currently being used to develop his next feature project.
MEET THE BAND
Outbound Road is a central Florida based hard country band working on their second album. Founded by ex-Molly Hatchet drummer Sean Shannon and guitarist/vocalist Billy Varnes, the band’s first record “Hard Country” harnesses the energy and power of guitar-driven southern rock bands and delivers a new sound, blending styles of music from hard rock to traditional country. The second record continues that trend, with all new material and the single Holy Water (Walking With You).
NATALIA ROJAS - PRODUCER
Natalia earned her degree in Film at The University of Central Florida. Recognized for her acting talent in award-winning short films, including the Jury Award recipient You Can't Say That. She also served as a Production Assistant and Spanish consultant for the Amazon Prime Show, The College Tour. In 2023, Natalia produced and acted as 1st Assistant Director for the proof of concept YOUNGBLOOD, showcasing her versatility.
