We’re TaKeTV – a production company for online content in the market of eSports / gaming. TaKeTV has been established in 2010 by former WarCraft III pro gamer and ESL / GIGA host Dennis „TaKe“ Gehlen and what once started as a one-man company in a 55 sqm flat has quickly become one of the most prestigious broadcasters for international tournaments in StarCraft II, CS:GO, Heroes of the Storm and Hearthstone as well as daily coverage of all important tournaments.
With more than 10 million unique viewers per annum and 83 million total clicks on the live channel TaKeTV is a constantly growing brand that will move into a brand new 2,000 smq location in 2015 to provide the community with even more events and content in the future.
We‘re internationally well-known for hosting our very own tournaments and leagues such as Acer TeamStory Cup or SeatStory Cup.
The most famous TaKeTV tournament, however, is HomeStory Cup that today belongs to the most popular StarCraft II tournaments around the globe; it takes place twice a year.
In 2014, HomeStory Cup celebrated its 10th edition with almost 1.5 million unique live views and 4,000 viewers on location.
Now we’re planning another edition of HSC – and we need YOUR help to make it happen!

HOMESTORY CUP XI – WHY WE’RE HERE
Many of you have been asking about our plans for the upcoming HomeStory Cup XI lately and you’re right – it’s definitely time for another HSC soon!
However, the truth is that every tournament – especially HSC – costs a lot of money to provide you with a great show and awesome players and it is obvious that we cannot bring up this huge amount of money without enough sponsors.
In the past we always gave our best to put all our cards on the table and that’s exactly what we’re doing now. We have been planning HSC XI for some time now but besides the huge prize pool of 25,000$ there a lot of other costs that have to be taken into account: $2,500 will be needed to cover beverages and food, for $2,000 we will have a huge party on Saturday as always (open for everyone), staff (incl. casters) will cost $15,000, $3,000 will be needed for the trophy, fuel etc. and flights as well as the accommodation for players will cost around $7,500 - it all adds up to at least $55,000!
In the past we always managed to cover this huge amount of money with the great help of our sponsors but this time the total budget provided by our sponsors MIFcom, NEEDforSEAT®, Kinguin and EIZO will be covering 42,500 $ - which is great, but still 12,500 $ are missing to make HomeStory Cup XI come to life.
It wasn’t an easy decision for us but instead of cancelling HSC XI and thanks to your encouragement we’re now asking you to help us make HSC XI happen from July 2 – 5 2015.
Every little amount can help to get one step closer to HSC XI – become a part of our biggest StarCraft II event!

Besides the obvious advantage that HomeStory Cup XI will take place if we manage to collect (almost) enough money to cover the costs there will of course be another public screening of the event in the pub below the studio in Krefeld, Germany, once again where you can meet your favourite SC2 players live & in colour.
Also you’re supporting eSports and StarCraft II so let’s prove all the sceptics wrong and show them how big the StarCraft II community is and that it isn’t a dead game at all – it’s quite vivid instead!

If we manage to reach the milestone of 17,500$, we will invite the guys from BasetradeTV and they'll provide the English B-stream for HSC XI on location!
20,000$ - Poker Action
We will set up a poker stream during the event to show you what's happening 'back stage'!
22,500$ - Behind the scenes
Ever wondered what it looks like when the crew is preparing a huge event like HSC? We will set up a stream behind the scenes that shows you the madness that's going on from Monday till Wednesday before HSC.
25,000$ - Broodwar / Legacy Tournament
For 25,000$ we will host a four-man tournament where competitors have to switch between Broodwar and Legacy of the Void after each map.
100,000$ - Let's go to Mallorca!
If you are crazy, so are we. We don't really plan on reaching this goal but if we do we will invite eight players to Mallorca, Spain, and hold a tournament there in addition to HSC XI - just because we can.
