About me and my mission:
I‘m recovering drug addict and alcoholic. My mission is to inspire hope in the lives of others suffering from addiction. My story is one similar to many other addicts, one of brokenness and forgiveness. This desire to start a non-profit is one God has laid on my heart. The first step in this process is to purchase a home to “house” our program..
Hope is Alive!
They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. -Luke 6:48
Our mission: to inspire hope and provide a solid foundation for those early in recovery.
Our strategy: to provide a small group of men a safe place to live. To give them the tools, training and teaching necessary to stay sober, while encouraging them to build a firm foundation in which to begin the rest their lives.
Our approach: to be specific, intentional and unique in everything we do. To provide specialized one-of- a-kind opportunities to men who are truly ready to take their recovery to the next level.
Our focus: to provide an exceptionally specialized program consisting of:
- Structured Living
- Intentional Mentoring
- Spiritual Growth
- Life Skills Training
- Group Service Work
- Leadership Development
What We Need
My hope is to raise enough support to assist with a down payment on the house shown in the video. Once that is done, I will secure a loan, move in and begin to welcome men who are ready to take their lives to a new level.
I need to raise at least $5000 so the bank will let me purchase this home. Any amount small or large will help us get there!
NOTE: We have 5 men ready to move in right now!!
Unique Program:
I plan to live with the men in the house myself and provide them with the most unique opportunities to grow that I can possibly find.
On a monthly basis we will provide the house members the following:
- Exceptional speakers from all walks of life
- Encouraging spiritual leaders to provide guidance and counsel
- Successful community businessmen and women to offer career insight
- Unique networking opportunities
- Intentional mentoring for each man in the house, where mentors will work alongside them to help propel their lives to new heights
The house will also include:
- Community living environment
- Peer to peer responsibility program
- Internal accountability partners
- Curfew management
- Group dining experiences
- Routine random drug testing
- Mission Trips
Additionally, as a collective group we will go and support other community based charities and organizations. This includes the local rescue missions, food banks and treatment centers in our community.
Closing:
I need your help. This is my dream, to give men like myself opportunities to achieve a life they never thought possible. I need to raise at least $5000 to make this happen.
Please consider supporting this initiative. After all, drug addicts and alcoholics are people just like me and you. We all need second chances. Please help me provide a place for second chances to happen.
