"Hugo’s Perfect Picnic” is a story about Hugo, the giant gorilla, and his search for the perfect picnic spot. But with every spot he finds, there is always something that doesn’t seem quite right. As one disappointment leads to another, Hugo feels like he'll never find the perfect picnic spot. In the end, with the help of his friends, he learns that perfection isn’t the most important thing in life. 

“Hugo’s Perfect Picnic” features 40 pages of cool art, fun rhymes, and colorful characters in an all-ages story. If you love giant monsters, then this book is perfect for you! Let me introduce you to Hugo and his giant monster friends who are featured in this story.

WHY INDIEGOGO?

I have the base cost of the printing which will be done in the US. I am listing this campaign on Indiegogo to help improve the quality of the book, provide a buffer for printing costs during COVID, and to increase the print order to reduce the printing cost per book. Also, l would like to offer this short campaign for my fans who use Indiegogo instead of Kickstarter.

THE TEAM

My name is Nolen Lee, and I’m the creator of my own brand, Punching Pandas®. Over a decade ago, I left my career as a structural engineer to pursue a career in art. Since then, I’ve done freelanced comics for Disney, commercial illustrations, and video games in addition to my own work. I have a passion for creating original art and stories that have a ton of fun and a lot of heart.

RISKS AND CHALLENGES

One of the challenges that this project faces is the raising enough to meet the printer’s minimum order quantity (MOQ). I have priced the tiers as low as I could to ensure that I meet the MOQ while providing reasonable prices to my backers.
