Set in an apocalyptic version of 2033, ‘Human Error’ follows a young adult named Billie as they travel across South Central Texas where society has fallen to hordes of zombie-like creatures called Errors. Having lost their own family and friends to death and tragedy, Billie takes refuge with a group of other survivors seeking safety and a cure for Errors. But Billie has more in common with the Errors than they’d like to admit to their companions. ‘Human Error’ dives into loss, love, and finding hope within ourselves.

Human Error is a full cast audio drama with immersive sound design and a captivating original score. We are currently crowdfunding for our first of four seasons, and we have quite a roller coaster in store! Season One will be comprised of 8 episodes, ranging 15-20 minutes each, and transcripts will be provided for each episode upon release. 

As well as boasting a cast and crew made up queer and marginilized identities, the show also features deaf and hard of hearing characters played by deaf and hard of hearing actors.

  • The initial goal of our crowdfund doesn’t include the show's creator getting paid (besides the scripts they wrote). If we reach this goal, Ali will get paid for her work on the show including producing Human Error, casting, creating and running the website, creating the shows artwork, composing all of the music, dialogue editing, among other things that go into production. 

Season One is happening even if we don’t make our goal. It’s a great story, and it won’t tell itself! However, meeting our goal means that not only can we release Season Two as soon as possible, it also means that we get to fairly compensate all of the incredible artists who came together to make Human Error happen. From the actors who voice the characters you’ll come to know and love, to the designers who create immersive soundscapes to take each episode to the next level. We want to make sure that everyone who helped make this project happen is paid adequately so that we can keep bringing you more of the stories you love!
