Weeks after the Events of Peregrine: Wings of the Falcon, Human Shield is called back to his hometown of Buenos Aires, hit hard by the invasion that killed so many of Earth's Heroes. What he finds is a powder keg waiting to explode, as the government tries to force their twisted version of the Metahuman Registration Act on a weary population. Adding fuel to the fire is an enigmatic terrorist group that has appeared to take advantage of the protests by inciting violence for an unknown purpose. Human Shield must work with allies, both old and new, to confront the shadows of his past and prevent a repeat of the tragic event that led to his origin.

The Reconstruction Universe is an ongoing project to rebuild the Super Hero as we knew them long ago. Reconstruction seeks to create a shared and curated space between creators where the stories comingle, sometimes connect, but can also operate solo. Heroes should be heroic, and Reconstruction is seeking to create characters and stories where our heroes are heroes instead whatever the modern comic writer seems to think they are.
