For those of you who have heard about Glassdoor, the friendly climate version has arrived.

We’ve created a free app for employees to find out how they can make greener choices in their professional roles, and rate their ability to have an impact in their jobs today.

But we want to do much more.

Next on our agenda is growing Hurd into a platform for employees to:

• Voice their opinions anonymously on their companies’ climate progress (or lack thereof)
• Exchange tips and ideas for how to shift the status quo at work
• and share their stories of everyday climate heroism.

This is a chance for employees to finally say what they really think – and be heard by their companies.

It’s also a chance for companies themselves to know what’s really going on in their workforces – what the zeitgeist is, and where the blind spots are.

Let’s be clear – we are not interested in pitting employees against their companies or stirring up resentment.

What we want is to build an open channel between companies and their people so that everyone can be heard, and bolder action can be taken – much, much faster.

Too many people are being denied the opportunity to act, and the climate movement needs your help.
