nothing in the world similar to jugger. It is a unique sport and deserves to be
recognized. And most importantly, there are thousands of stories that deserve
to be told, and we want to show them to you in this documentary. We want to
show you the passion players feel for jugger.
This
documentary is the perfect opportunity to promote this sport internationally,
and tell the story of the players and their experiences.

A lot of players
from different countries travel thousands of miles to participate in different
tournaments in countries like Sweden, Ireland, Australia, USA or Spain. They
have no support, only the desire to play and share the same passion with the
rest of the Jugger community.

shooting, the documentary will be distributed within international festivals,
promoting jugger worldwide for one or two years.
Then we
will use the platform of Vimeo on Demand to continue the promotion.
We will
play the documentary in different places, cinemas or doing events to promote
Jugger in different locations in Spain and other countries.

Runtun Films is a young and enthusiastic producer born in
2013 by four students of cinematography in Alicante, Spain.

With an array of technical resources at their disposal like the Lily Camera or the Blackmagic Design,
Runtun Films seeks to create a unique documentary exploring a different way to
make cinema and tell stories.

The creator of the project, Alex Asensi is a player jugger
since 6 years ago. He became interested in the idea of creating a documentary
about jugger due to a fascination with its values and its unique story related
to the cinema.
