IN CIRCLES is a feature length film in pre-production. It follows three midwest teenagers as they sell stolen prescription drugs in a small river town that is being threatened by a drilling operation. 

It is a look at the current economic problems affecting people in poverty in the United States Midwest, and the general decline of rural towns.

Once funded, we hope to cast an entire midwest crew. Since all of us are Southern Illinois natives, it is important to us to keep the filmmaking process at home. This means we'll be looking for midwestern actors, crew, and people who are generous enough to donate and/or share our information on social media. 

We are Consumer Grade Film, a U.S. Midwestern collective of filmmakers focusing on low-budget, socially-conscious projects. We are embarking on our biggest task so far, a feature-length film about the struggles of the area we grew up in. These are struggles we've seen first hand: poverty, fracking, drug-abuse, abortion. We want to tell this story because it's seldom told, or often ignored. We want to tell this story in such a compelling manner that it becomes impossible to forget... and we will. But we need your help.

We have quite a journey ahead in order to get this film into the production stage. This arduous journey starts with $10,000. Yes, that's a big number, and it's just the start of what we'll need in order to complete the film. The estimated overall cost of the film is $50,000. However, if we can meet the first fundraising goal, we can show producers and potential investors that people truly care about what we are doing. After that, we can obtain the rest of the funds necessary to pay for the long list of what goes into producing a great film. This list includes big costs, such as paying actors, film equipment, location rentals, etc. But it also includes little costs like gas money and feeding the crew. Even if our goal is not met in full, any amount of money we can show is better than nothing.
