Inki is two people. Duarte Martins recently graduated from LSE with a Masters in Philosophy of Social Sciences after having completed a Bachelors in Management with International Business at Royal Holloway. Duarte loves all things technology and Giant Slalom skiing.

Nick Epiphaniou recently graduated from Kings College with a postgraduate degree in International Political Economy. He loves après ski beers and shredding the snowpark.

Together, we created Inki as a platform to alleviate the difficulties that customers face when booking snowsports lessons as there is a lack of a centralised service for doing so. Not only will this streamline booking operations for snowsports instructors, but it will also help build the profile of independent instructors who prefer to operate outside of ski schools.

What We Need & What You Get

• We require funding for website development, operations, digital marketing, and legal costs.
• If your donation is generous, then you will rewarded with credit points to use on the platform.
• If we are unable to reach our £3000 goal, then all funds will be directed towards website development.

Your contribution will allow us to take great strides in making this project a reality. Not only have we conducted extensive research into the market, we also both have prior experiences in start-ups and established connections in the ski industry, so you can rest assured that your funds will be used productively as well as responsibly.

Risks & Challenges

We already have a solid network and experience; with this campaign we can launch an MVP, at which stage we will seek seed investment in order to kick off our growth stage.

We need to move fast for market share in order to beat any potential industry newcomers or competitors to the punch.

Other challenges include:

• Onboarding ski schools and instructors.
• Giving  the platform exposure both on and offline.
• Ensuring a high standard of web development using an iterative lean methodology in order to guarantee a good user experience.
• Finding our target customer demographic.
• Seasonality of market - we aim to overcome this once we expand.
• Guaranteeing long-term investment.
