It's Time to Go - Short Film
Director's Statement: "Inside my head I have a little timer that starts going off when it's time to make a new film. For this specific story, it's been going off for three years. The idea of the human mind, and specifically how fragile it is, has always fascinated me. I want to be able to show my vision on what it must feel like to lose all stability.
When time doesn't feel real; when the people you know and love seem to become untrustworthy for no apparent reason. When life no longer feels secure.
I want the audience to question their own sanity in a way that doesn't scare them, rather it allows them to think about every step they have taken leading up to that very moment. By the end of it, I I want them to feel a little more appreciative about life, even if it's just a sliver.
With this story being so important to me, I can't help but think of the many ways I am going to portray this process, and I just know that I'll be stepping out of my comfort zone in the best way possible. I have never explored my love for music in a film either, which I am excited to tackle. I can't wait for the finished product. I want to blow peoples minds."
