"Jack Irons: The Steel Cowboy" is a science fiction western set across history with a main character who is over 200 years old and has well over 2000 years of past life memories. Cursed in a past life with the burden of immortality in his next, Jack struggles to find the peace that will forever be denied him.
The year is 2076. In a savage wasteland populated by zombies, mutants, post apocalyptic raiders, aliens, and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, can Jack save what remains of humanity and find a way to end his life? Or will he come to terms with his unique and amazing existence and become the beacon of hope a dying species needs?

I have scripts for issues 2-8. I have a spin-off character issue written. I have a wonderful artist (Maximilliano D'allo). What I do not have, is funding to pay these wonderful individuals. You can see our first issue here, (one brought together from much generosity and effort on their behalf btw)

I am very proud of their work, but one issue barely scratches the surface of the story we have to tell. A story of loss and redemption spanning many cultures and many times, seen through the eyes of someone who has watched the world burn time and time again. A man who throughout the infinite heartache of his life and his memories, still manages to find the good within himself and act upon it. Jack may be a cowboy, but in 2076, not much else can oppose the Four Horsemen and bring humanity back from the brink of extinction.
Will you help us continue Jack's tale? Will you help bring together a world with so many possibilities for the future?

It all started a few years years ago, with a comic nerd and a dream, and then continued over a year ago with a Craigslist ad and a eventual meeting at a McDonalds. It continues today with the hope that many will connect to the world and characters as many others have come to know and love already!
Now unto the risky business,
I made sure this was not a flexible campaign, because even at a little over half the goal, we can start on the art, but I can not, in good faith, take money that may not lead to a final product within a reasonable time. Even if I can promise all funds would be saved for issue #2 and that art would be produced, if we were to fail to meet even half the goal, the money that was left really couldn't lead to anything substantial, and that would be unfair to everyone kind enough to support this en-devour.
Long story short, it ain't cheap making a comic, so if you like our work, please consider helping us make issue #2!
