Jeff the Killer is the titular main villain protagonist of the creepypasta story by the same name, acting as one of the most famous creepypasta icons to date, even rivaling the Slender Man, and existing as an insane young adult who has to satisfy his need to hurt and kill with the blood of the innocents.

Jeff was severely injured in an incident of bullying that caused his face to become burned. Following the incident, Jeff went insane and cut a smile into his cheeks and burned off his eyelids…

         Hi everyone. My name is Jeff Woods. You may know me by the name of Jeff the Killer. I’d like to tell you my story.

         Yes, of course, I became insane, gutted my parents and older brother. But not everyone knows why I became a murderer.

         Many people believe that all of this happened because of the three bastards… The way they mutilated me was the necessary trigger that pushed me to revenge. I felt like an outsider even before this, but this insident completely destroyed me.

         My mom, my dear mom didn’t support me, didn’t help me to cope with the pain. My new face frightened her. I cut a smile on it to make her feel better. But she just kept crying... I realized that I was on my own.

         My family started to reject me. I felt a growing sense of anger at the world. It was the last straw.

         ... You probably think me a heartless, callous bastard ... And you are right to! I really didn’t feel guilty when I raised my hand with the knife at each member of my family! And, you know, I felt better.

         I like to kill, I like to see how people are choking in their own blood – it makes me feel strong, this way I can cope with my pain. They hope to be saved, but I know that the smile on my face will be the last thing they see.

         It’s impossible to describe. It's like a gift which is not in everyone’s power, 

         like a chance to stand out from the ruck, 

         like becoming something beyond human understanding.

We are sure that many people have come across the name of Jeff the Killer. Perhaps you have heard urban legends and creepypasta's stories about the transformation of a young man into the utter psychopath and murderer, seen pranks, reviews and makeup tutorials. But even if you are in the number of “experts”, don’t rush to scroll further, just think about it deeper!

Jeff’s story is similar to a quote from psychiatric hospital patient’s card.

And we want to tell how we see it:

• First of all, for all fans of creepypasta – Jeff is not a child! In our script he is 18-20 years old.
• In our vision Jeff is a modern, charismatic and attractive maniac, if we may say so. This is the main reason why we took this project. The world doesn’t need another silent goon (sorry Jason)!
• The story itself – you can find echoes of our modern life in it. Think about yourself and remember your youth. Family problems, bullying by counterparts… And even if you didn’t have any of those problems, you still most certainly saw this happening to somebody else. 

• The relationship between the two brothers as the vector of Jeff’s evolution – we all know about his brother Liu. And we think that it is the perfect line of Jeff’s evolution from love to hate and bloody massacre.
• You won’t feel sorry for the victims! You will empathize with Jeff and want him to finish them off as quickly and brutally as possible. We have always wanted to make a movie where the bad guy wins!

       Provocative, isn’t it?

• But the film “Jeff the Killer” will not be an hour and a half of the killing marathon. We also want to tell the story of the first crisis of a young man, which completely changed his personality.
• The script is in progress and is regularly updated. We are also thinking about and preparing for the second part. We have a clear vision where the first part ends and the second one starts off.
• According to the script, the story of Jeff takes place in Oklahoma. It’s a small but modern town, where everyone knows each other. But at the moment we are discussing all convenient variants for the shooting!
• We want to make it as sharp, dark and raw as possible. In our vision, it’s not just another high school horror movie.

But we need to be sure that you want to hear and, more importantly, see this story. Your feedback would be the greatest inspiration to complete the story to be best of our abilities.

With the advent of such a memorable character, we hope that the movie will become a franchise. 

Purity Films is a film company concentrated only on horror films production.

We are sure that not all the sides of the genre have been explored. And of course you won’t find anything new in yet another haunted house.

The core team will be recruited at the pre-production stage, but we are already discussing the participation. And, thanks to the Internet, we already have some worthy candidates. Simple as that.

But the main thing is that we have a terrific actor for Jeff’s role and we don’t want to show him without makeup just yet – let it remain a secret for now!

It goes without saying that we aim at a wide release and high quality! But you have to understand that it requires a budget. We need great amount of resources for each stage – actors, equipment, locations, all pre- and post-production works... And here are the financial goals we set for ourselves and feel to be achievable:

We are not doing all or nothing. We are going to continue the development of this project with any amount of money we can collect.

Regardless of the sum, we are going to search for funds from alternative sources immediately after the completion of the campaign!

But also, WE ARE SURE that many people all around the world would like to give life to Jeff on the big screen!

Together, WE CAN achieve our goals and make this movie!
