Short Summary
We are the June Lake Jam Festival, an annual Mono Arts Council (MAC) benefit event. Now in our 6th year, we've grown to become an important part of MAC funding for school art and music programs in Mono County, California. All money goes straight to these programs for children.
Normally, the festival would be a three-day in-person event with food, fun, music and dancing, but this year it just can't happen.
The show must go on, and it will. We've arranged for bands to record a performance specifically for our festival and we are live-streaming the event, FREE.
In exchange, we're asking that everyone dig deep to donate through this campaign and receive perks in exchange for desperately needed funding.
Arts Education in Mono County is on the line.

What We Need & What You Get
We need $20,000 this year to replace the money we would have earned with our regular in-person event. This money goes straight to arts education: in-school programs, summer camps, after-school program and live music performances at schools.
We believe our festival will return to an in-person event next year, so we've created perks in this Indiegogo to entice your contribution today for the magic of what will be a stellar live event next year. We've also lined your opportunities with merchandise and swag that will bring a little of the June Lake magic home to you.
We hope to reach our goal, but if we don't, our programs offered by the Mono Arts Council may need to be cut back, further hampering education and opportunities for children and young adults across Mono County, California.

The Impact
Every year, students in the small, rural and remote communities receive creative arts education opportunities delivered by the Mono Arts Council, a nonprofit organization.
In its sixth season, June Lake Jam Fest has become a primary funding channel for our community.
The success of our event, our ability to collect charitable contributions, is of critical importance to the children of Mono County, California.
Without our funding, these programs may be cut or require a fee to continue, making it difficult for our families who already struggle financially to participate.
Donate. Please.
Everything counts.

Risks & Challenges
Due to the ongoing pandemic, there is a chance that JLJF7 (slated to occur in September of 2021) will need to go virtual. If so, perks will need to be converted and those who donate will be offered an extension to the 2022 event or something else of value, at the very least, merchandise and swag.
