"InDemand" UPDATE: Our Ultimate IndieGoGo campaign ended at 3:00 am on Sunday, April 26th. We raised $4,075 when our initial goal as only $1,000. We achieved funding of 407%! Thank you so much to everyone who contributed in any way. The campaign lives on as part of IndieGoGo's new "In Demand" program: people may still contribute, and still receive perks for as long as they're available in the cue. One caveat: we cannot provide screen credit for In Demand contributions, because we have to finish the film! Look for KILLER RACK at a film festival near you.

HOME STRETCH UPDATE: It's been an exciting few weeks for
KILLER RACK: we launched this campaign, achieving our minimum goal of $1,000 (with our ultimate goal being $3,000) in
just one week; our campaign is now 250% funded. We still need to raise $497 in less than one week. We posted 16 character posters, including one which graphically depicts our monster boobs (but only one permutation of them). We launched our trailer on YouTube, and it garnered widespread coverage in the horror media and generated
a whopping 11,000 views - this is fantastic for a micro-indie feature! You can find all of our character posters in our Gallery section, and you can watch the trailer here:
11,000 views tells us what we always knew: that this is a highly marketable film, as long as we market it properly, and that means submitting it to as many film festivals as we can, and promoting it at those festivals, which is where this campaign comes in. Our score has been completed, which means that by the time this campaign ends, the film will be completed and ready for submission to the top genre fests in the world. We've got a lot of great perks, including one of a kind screen used props from the film (and
Slime City Massacre), like the "boxing boobs" below.

THANK YOU to everyone who's supported this campaign, either by contributing to it, watching the trailer, or posting the links to either/both on social networking sites. We love you, and so does the
KILLER RACK! Please help us cross that finish line!
ORIGINAL PITCH:Well, we did it! Last year, we raised development money for our screwball horror comedy
KILLER RACK here on IndieGoGo. Those funds enabled us to begin work on our outrageous special effects, book airfare for visiting talent like Debbie Rochon and Lloyd Kaufman, and secure investors for the rest of our budget. We shot on weekends in Buffalo, NY during August and September, captured special effects pickups in October, and now we're almost finished. The film is edited, special visual effects have been added, and a fantastic score is being composed. Our crazy movie, a real labor of love, is almost complete -
thanks to you.

The good news - the
fantastic news - is that the finished product exceeds our wildest expectations. Which is why we need your help - again, and for the last time. After 10 months of hard work,
KILLER RACK has
turned out so well we believe it stands an excellent chance of becoming a true cult hit. For that to happen, we can't settle for a quickie DVD release; we need to take it to film festivals around the world and hold screenings of our own. It will cost us at least $1,000 to submit to festivals.
KA_CHING. It will cost us another $1,000 to hold screenings in Buffalo and New York City.
KA-CHING! And it will cost us $1,000 to produce screeners, create marketig materials such as postcards, flyers and posters, and do mailings.
KA-KA-CHING!!! We don't have a dime for these expenses, and the deadlines for some of the most important festivals are coming close.

So we're hosting another IndieGoGo campaign -
the Ultimate IndieGoGo campaign! - to see us through the final stages of marketing this special film. We need $3,000, but we're setting our IGGo goal at $1,000 just to be safe; hopefully we'll raise much more than that. We're offering screen credit, color prints autographed by our amazing leading lady Jessica Zwolak, signed DVDs, screen used art direction props, and for serious collectors,
incredible screen used special effects monster props/puppets! For anyone considering these more expensive, one of a kind perks, contact us and we'll share photos with you; we'd rather not spoil the creature effects for anyone else. Why are we willing to part with these items, when they will be worth so much more after the film has been released? Because we believe in this film, and we're committed to bringing it to audiences via film festivals, and taking everything to the next level. And because the film is 95% finished, we'll be able to deliver all perks come June.

Please watch our pitch video, which includes
exclusive footage from the film. We've been careful not to spoil any of our more outrageous moments. As part of this campaign, we've also unveiled our Official Film Festival Poster - check back daily because we're uploading a new character portrait each day. In two and a half weeks, we'll unveil the first teaser trailer. This is going to be a
fun campaign! What are the risks to you as a contributor?
NONE! The film is almost finished! Every image and frame you see in our video and on this page is from the movie (except for director Lamberson's pitch).
GOREZONE has already published a print story on
KILLER RACK, and an article about it on the website io9 generated 30,000 views ("Killer Rack May Be The Wrongest Horror Film In The History Of Wrongness").

KILLER RACK tells the story of Betty Downer (Jessica Zwolak), a young woman suffering from low esteem who gets breast enhancement surgery from Dr. Cate Thulu (Debbie Rochon). While her new assets land her plenty of attention, Betty soon discovers her new breasts are actually man eating, Lovecraftian monsters hell bent on world domination - and she's the only one who can stop them. In addition to Jessica and Debbie, the film features Lloyd Kaufman from Troma Entertainment; the amazing Michael Thurber; Roy Frumkes from STREET TRASH; and Brooke Lewis as the Voice of the Boobs!
About the content: There is a button on this page which enables people to warn IGG if they believe a campaign is objectionable. We want to be clear that while the subject mater of our film is sensational, it's strictly R-rated; there's a sweet love story at its core, and a positive message about self image. It's a fun horror comedy, not an offensive one, and it's a comedy first and foremost. There's even a musical number!

We loathe when people talk up their own projects, but we know what we have here, and with so many crowd funding campaigns out there competing for your generosity (we feel your pain - it's no fun begging for money, either), we have to share our honest belief about what our team has created. This film is hilarious. The acting is through the roof. The SFX (including stop motion animation by Brett Piper) are crazy. The whole thing is so much bigger than we thought it would be when we started this wild adventure.

Unfortunately, as stated in our pitch video, making the movie is only half the battle - getting it out there involves a tremendous amount of effort, which costs money. We're willing and eager to spend the next nine months touring this project at festivals and cons, but we have to submit it to them first, and that takes money we just don't have. It's frustrating to have created such a solid piece of work and know its fate hinges on the support of friends, family and strangers, but that's the reality of the indie marketplace today, especially for low budget genre fare.
Please take just a few minute to watch our pitch video, consider our perks, and support our KILLER RACK. It's a chance to be part of something unique, fun and lasting - we know this film will have legs if we can give it the special push it deserves![]()
