Kimoyo, a 501c(3) non-profit in Roanoke, VA, is dedicated to empowering women of Northern Ghana to change their communities. They also strive to create an appreciation for diversity in the Roanoke Valley.

Over 15 years ago, Kimoyo started a medical facility in Northern Ghana.  Through providing quality patient care and taking the time educate patients, the facility has grown to serve an average of 100 patients a day. They provide a diversity of medical care, including community education on HIV/AIDS, malaria medication for children and prenatal care to the women who would otherwise have to look elsewhere for treatment.

Kimoyo is in need of funds to update their surgical suit and purchase medical equipment that will provide access to friendly and safe medical care for everyone, but especially children.
