About the Project:

The Kinette Club of Barrie’s Cocktails & Gowns fundraising event is an annual event that was started in 2012. This is the club’s largest fundraising event of the year.

It will be held on April 25th, 2015 at the Edge Hill Banquet Hall, Barrie, Ont

Time : 6:30pm.

This year’s event is themed “An Evening in Paris” and will consist of a French-themed dinner, a French-themed fashion show, entertainment, and a silent auction.

The fashion show will be the main focus of the event. The show is created by students who are studying in the European Pattern Making course and are thought by Maria Calautti, owner of Le Grand Chic Italia School of Fashion. The students will choose a French designer and one of his/her designs and recreate it. During the show we will be able to see a presentation of the original design, the outfit created by the student and the reason why they choose a particular designer and their creation. The event should reflect an Evening in Paris with all its glamour.
