never receive a bill from St. Jude.
A $3 donation can provide pediatric isolation masks.
A $10 donation can provide a new toy for play areas.
A $22 donation can provide rehabilitation weights.
A $30 donation can provide a daily meal card.
St.
Jude Children's Research Hospital was founded in Memphis, Tenn. by
entertainer Danny Thomas and opened in 1962. We freely share our
discoveries to help doctors and scientists at local hospitals, clinics
and cancer centers around the world treat childhood cancer. So when you
support St. Jude, you help improve the quality of care for children
everywhere.

St. Jude patient Scott, bone cancer
For more than 50 years, St. Jude has a
history of taking on many of the most difficult and underserved
pediatric diseases. On average, St. Jude sees 7,800 children a year from
throughout the United States and from around the world, while many more
children are seen at the eight St. Jude affiliate hospitals.
Treatments
invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer
survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent since it opened
more than 50 years ago and we won’t stop until no child dies from
cancer. And thanks to generous donors, families never receive a bill
from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a
family should worry about is helping their child live.
At
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital our mission is clear: Finding
cures. Saving children. We treat children from all 50 states and around
the world. Our founder, Danny Thomas, was a visionary who had a dream:
“no child should die in the dawn of life.” Consistent with his vision,
no
child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability
to pay.

Hungry for
Music is based in Washington, DC. Our mission is putting musical instruments into hungry hands. We
serve children who demonstrate a desire to learn music, as well as teachers who
have students willing to learn. Our vision is to facilitate the donation of
musical instruments to all those who wish to play. Giving the gift of music has
the potential to change lives!
A $1 donation helps purchase guitar picks.
A $7 donation helps purchase 2 recorders.
A $30 donation helps refurbish and ship one instrument to a child.
A $50 donation helps purchase an acoustic guitar.
An $85 donation helps purchase a djembe drum.
A $450 donation helps purchase an alto saxophone.
Since
1994, we've donated over
9,000 instruments in 47 states and 17 countries in 22 years.
Over
the past several years, we have experienced a growing demand for our service.
With that growing demand comes a need for additional funding to cover the
increased costs of instrument repair and refurbishing, as well as packing,
shipping and delivery.

Our work is 100% supported by donations. Whether through monetary donations,
instrument donations, or our network of volunteers, we couldn’t do what we
do without the generosity of others.
We believe that by
sharing instruments and musical experiences, children who would not normally
have the opportunity can experience a kind of freedom and self-discovery that
is often stifled in an atmosphere of economic hardship. All of our
events, benefits, instrument drives, and CD production are aimed at uplifting
lives and enriching culture at-large by supporting the availability of music
education.
Special thanks to our partners:
