What is Little Land?
Little Land is a place where kids can be kids… and where kids can grow, develop and interact with each other. Sometimes that may look like one-on-one therapy, other times it may be group sessions or open play. The Little Land concept was developed to revolutionize the way pediatric therapy is administered across our community and to make more developmental based play available to kids in our area.
At Little Land, we offer:
- Pediatric Occupational, Speech and Physical Therapy
- Open Play in an environment designed by therapists
- Music and Art classes
- Parent's Day and Night Out Programs
- Birthday Parties and other events
Why are we different?
We've all been to an indoor playground, jumped in a bounce house and done flips on a trampoline. It was a ton of fun, right? Even though it is fun and helps tire a kid out, are your kids gaining anything from it? Are they developing while they play, socializing and developing themselves to be the best kid that they can be?
We're not trying to replace other indoor playgrounds, we just plan on offering something new and different. We (Ernie & Debbie, aka the founders of Little Land) want to create a place that has all of the fun stuff, but also has a benefit for each kid that visits. Think of it this way; if you were to join a gym, would you want to be able to take part in activities or use equipment that helps your body develop, change and be the best that it can be? That's exactly what we want to have available for kids at Little Land!
What exactly does this mean?
- Sensory Development Equipment and Activities
- Fine and Gross Motor Skill Development
- Social Skills and Interaction with Other Children
- Development Based Play and Activities
Why is this important for ALL kids? Playing and having fun is how kids learn. Little Land will provide the ultimate environment for your kids to develop to be the best that they can be!

Not only do we want Little Land to be a place for kids to grow, but we want you (the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, and everyone else) to enjoy yourself as well. What does this mean for you, you ask? We're investing in high quality and comfortable couches and chairs for you to relax in while your kids are playing. We'll start off by offering healthy snacks and fresh (delicious) coffee and teas. We will also have free wifi! Soon after opening, we hope to expand and open the Little Land Cafe & Bakery, too!
Where did Little Land Come From?
![]()
Little Land Pediatric Therapy & Play Gym was founded by Ernie and Debbie Beltz to provide top-notch therapy to kids across central Texas.
Debbie is an Occupational Therapist and has worked in the pediatric field for over 13 years. Originally from Miami, she has put her skills to work at a number of facilities including children’s hospitals, private clinics and home health. She has a passion for helping infants, toddlers and kids grow to their full potential and realize what they’re truly capable of. Debbie’s husband Ernie is the business guy and takes care of the day-to-day operations of the business. Together, they make a great team and strive to provide the best service, treatment and fun to kids and their families across Texas.
What We Need & What You Get
To keep Little Land on track for a Spring 2015 opening, we need your help to purchase the necessary equipment for the Play Gym. As you can imagine, this equipment is quite expensive, considering it must be safe, durable and designed for a specific developmental, sensory or other childhood need.
We've set our current goal at $25,000, to provide us with the additional funding that we need to purchase the rest of our equipment for Little Land. If we're able to raise more than that, we'll get started expanding right away. The money you contribute to our campaign doesn't just vanish after you give, you'll be generously rewarded! All of our "perks" are detailed on the right side of this page, but there's something extra that everyone who contributes will get -- an invitation to our grand opening!
The money from our goal of $25,000 will help us purchase:
- Swings and Slides
- Platform equipment and indoor zip-line setup
- Ball pit, balls and ball cleaning and sanitizing machine
- Various toys and therapeutic activities and equipment
- Ladders, ropes and crash pads (foam for under the zip line)
- Basic computer equipment for front desk
- Refrigerator and coffee maker... yes, this is for you. :) You'll be able to get light snacks and hot/cold drinks while you watch your kids play!
- Seating, such as comfy chairs and couches. After all, we want you to enjoy Little Land too!
(we added some similar images to the gallery. Click the link at the top of the page)
If we exceed our goal, we will expand and add the following at Little Land:
- If we raise $35,000, we will open the "Snoezelen Room" (see some pictures here) You can also help us do this by contributing $10,000 -- and we'll even name the room after you! Learn more about Snoezelen here:
http://www.snoezeleninfo.com- If we raise $45,000, we will open the Little Land Cafe & Bakery
- If we raise $55,000, we will add an additional 3,000 sqft of gym space and activities
What are our perks, and why are they so cool you ask?
- Get invited to our Grand Opening!
- Day, month and year long passes to Little Land
- Special Edition T-shirts
- Get your name on our wall, forever!
- Bumper Stickers
- Birthday Parties
We're opening this Spring, whether we meet our goal or not. If we don't meet our goal, we risk not being able to purchase all of the necessary equipment for opening day. :( Imagine going to a football game and not having any chairs -- we don't want that to happen at Little Land. With your help, we'll make sure your kids have more fun than ever before, and give you a nice place to sit back, relax and enjoy a cup of coffee while watching your little one play!
Risks & Challenges
We've already found our space, and plan on signing our lease in a couple of weeks. Construction will begin immediately. The biggest risk that we face is that without your help, we might not reach our goal. If we don't meet our goal, we won't have all of the fun stuff prepared in time for your kids to have as much fun as possible when you visit Little Land this spring or summer.
We're in this together. We have the ideas and everything ready to go... we just need your help so that we can push the "order" button for our excellent games, activities and equipment!
Other Ways You Can Help
