My name is Annabelle Gonzalez. I am currently an eighth grade student at Millikan Middle School. I am in the Civics Academy and have been since sixth grade. Every year, each student is required to do an Activism Project. This year, as an eighth grader I am required to do my project alone. I was aware that my dance teacher at school needed some work done in her classroom, so I asked her if she would like me to help her as this year's Activism Project. My project needs to be sustainable, in some way, so I am planning to add new cubbies in the boy's dressing room and repaint the old cubbies. Also, I am adding cabinet doors and painting inspirational words in the girl's dressing room. I am so excited to help out in Mrs. Weiss's classroom. Thank you for reading what my project is about.
