My Story

Hello everyone! My name is Tomasz Jedruszek aka Morano and I am freelance artist since almost 10 years. For two years I am working with Wizards of the coast creating art to their famous card game Magic the Gathering. Since the begining I have been receiving lots of  response from MTG fans intersted in buying prints and posters versions of the card artwoks I made. Unfortunatelly I had only two opitons ,print them individually agree to poor digital print quality and rising cost per piece to level unacceptable by fans or to print larger amount of posters at once which will be excellent offset print quality but  requires me to put some money out of my pocket at start without guarantee they will sell all. I do not have to tell You I do not have such extra money can be risk, especially as a husband and a father I have to keep my family budget first then think about my fans. Fortunatelly here comes Indiegogo with help.

The Impact

For years I 've been developing myown projects and ideas but because of lack of starting founds I had to keep them in a locker. Now it  a great chance to me to bring them out to the world. Before do that however I would like to try something smaller and Prints Shop seems to be right choice. Lets see how much will You apreciate my artworks and how indiegogo works then I do promise to bring the cool stuff much  more . If we fail to meet the goal money ,well that will be  a lesson to me  and an experience but I believe with Your help ,especially counting on Your commnets/advices here, I will have enough time till the deadline to convince You the project is worth to contribute.

What We Need & What You Get

As I said when talking about posters there is really only one option: to print them in huge amount, once to minimalize costs per piece, twice to get the best quality and offset printing is right there. I need 5000$ to cover the basic print of 5 posters. Why 5 ,well this is the starting point and I wanted You to have at least some of choice if You think that is too much anyways the entire collection of my works made for MTG reaches 50 pieces. So print costs are about 58% the exact number is hard to determinate because all will be paid in polish currency so the final amount is basicly what current USD/PLN rate is. Another 38% are shipping+packaging costs and they also needs to be secured in front mostly because of cartoon tubes for packaging I have to order them in large amount to cut the cost per piece. The rest are Indiegogo fees. The goal money covers first 200 orders in my MTG store and I am talking only about "regular Pack " all the rest is mostly covered from my pocket or those are free stuff I am receiving a lot as a freelance artist from the publisher.I decided to start with 200 pieces because it seems to be the optimal amount, there is no point to print 100 pieces as they cost almost the same amount as 200 ,from the other side just 2000 $ more would do another 200 packages -but I though 7000$ project will be just too much for my Indiegogo debut. If there will be more interest than the goal 5000$ I will be able to prepare more packs for You because printing costs running down with pieces printed rising up plus I should be able to expand the Prints Store by more posters and maybe even T-shirts and other gifts? I  believe You don't have to be Magic the Gathering fan really to find those posters or other uniqe perks offer interesting  so I am really counting on Your support.

Each proof card had limited edition number , first to contribute this perk takes lower(more valuable)  number . This perk covers numbers 13-47

This Pack contains 5 postcards version of the illustrations all signed plus 3 random MTG cards. Regular Pack contains B2 (68 x 48 cm or 27x19 inches) 250 gr/sqrm UV potected glossy paper Poster of One of Five illustrations ,signed  plus 3 random MTG cards.

Best Pack contains all 5 posters ,signed plus 3 MTG cards. Even You do not like one or two of the posters it is a great choice because You save a lot on shipping costs while extra posters You didn't like still sounds like cool gift for friends of Yours.

This is extended "Best Pack"  so it has 5 posters and 3 MTG cards in it plus A4 ORGINAL pencil drawing of mine.

This is also extended version of "Best Pack" but more JRR Tolkien fans oriented. It contains 5 posters and 3 MTG cards -signed  plus "Middle Earth Quest" board game by FFG also signed

This one is for true Magic The Gathering fans. It contains all what "Best Pack" has plus  "Magic the Gathering Commander. The commander edition contains itself 3 Oversized ,foil commander cards and 100 card singleton deck,tuned for multiplayer play. First to contribute this perk has the  best color of the commander box choice. 

Whenever You plan to visit Poland feel free to visit my hometown Bochnia and be oficially my quest for 24 hrs. You just need to get here somehow but  once I will pickup you from the cracow airport or train station all costs are on me. Within 1200$ traveler pack cost ,you can expect one night at cozy hotel with view on the Tatra mountains+ breakfast , dinner and lots of drinks. I will be your tour guide for Bochnia which is wonderful and cute little town near by Cracow but just as interesting only more quiet. If you are drawing or painting yourself I can give you some lessons durring that time but I am sure we will find just plenty interesting subjects to chat about once you get here. I will ofcourse help you get back on the airport or station once the trip expires, there are aslo 5 posters and 3 MTG cards delivered peronaly with shake of my hand .

Send me the art description ,photo references or other materials and let me work on Your personal illustration ,just for You , one and only piece like that on the entire Planet. This can be Magic the gathering illustration like with a character looks like You  or  everything else really there are no limits. Once it is ready I will print it ,sign and send it back  to You , 5 posters and 3 MTG cards included.

I I am ready to give up my best friend -Intous 2 A4+ Wacom tablet . It is used and that is the best of him - it has skratches , cracks but it is working as new -which is even better about him. Ive been using it for almost 10 years already and it is really a hard deal to me to breaking apart with it.. So you better be quick as I can change my mind every minute now ;)

Other Ways You Can Help

Establishing those starting 200 orders should be enough to begin my posters shop earing and I be able to cut some freelance works and finally have more time for my kids. But ofcourse it would be most generous of You if You just spread teh message and bring as much of Your friends as possible.
