"MEET" - an exclusive book:
"Meet" is a violent horror book based upon an author who is travelling out of country to meet some readers at a retreat. They've all purchased tickets to meet him, there is a good "buzz" about him coming and - he feels the same. However, the moment he lands in their country he realises things are not quite as they seem.
Genre: Extreme Horror.
Releases: Hardback and paperback will be released through this campaign only.
There will be a Kindle release later.
Also, if you're in America, you can MEET Matt Shaw and have him hand deliver the book!

Meet Matt Shaw:
Matt Shaw is often asked to travel to places but, unfortunately, it isn't as easy as just picking up and going out somewhere. In a recent poll, on his Facebook page, it was clear he had readers all over the US. The most popular area (and within reach of the most people) was Ohio so, that's where he has chosen to head to. That being said, he has flown out to countries before to meet people and just had them not show up. It was a costly exercise and one he cannot afford to repeat, which is why this campaign has been set up and why he is writing an exclusive book.
How do I meet Matt?
Simple: Purchase a paperback or hardback and drop Matt a message here to say you're wanting to meet up with him.
Seattle: May 22nd (after Crypticon)
New York: September 7th and 8th
Ohio: September 9th (afternoon), 10th
What are we doing when we meet?
Well, Matt has never been to Ohio before so he will probably want to see some of the sights. If you want to go with him and hang out for a few days, you're more than welcome. If you just want to meet him for a quick drink in a bar, you're more than welcome. Rather stop by for a bite to eat? A meal can be arranged but please keep in mind, Matt is an author... He is not a rich man so any activities you choose to do will be down to you to fund for yourself!
I want to meet Matt but can't get to Ohio!
Sadly the US is a big, big place but if this works and people have fun, it would be something Matt chooses to do for the future and for other places. Perhaps a yearly event in a different state and funded through a similar "all or nothing" campaign.
But why run a campaign?
Matt will be meeting people who purchase the book and are up for travelling to Ohio to meet him too (September). As soon as the campaign finishes, flights will be booked and dates set so everyone has time to make their plans.
All proceeds will go through to the trip itself.
