Short Summary
Hello, I'm Ni, and I'm possessed of a deep and urgent need to share my chocolate with as many people as possible.
Having been made redundant a lot, I've decided to return to the world of work via self-employment, and that means it's time to look at what I really care about doing with my life.
That would be chocolate.
Starting a business doesn't just help the owner of the business, or even the customers. It brings prosperity to the city, and in the wider world brings a little moment of happiness to people all over the UK.
What We Need & What You Get
To set up the business, I basically need five things:
- Upgrades for the kitchen. Making sure everything is as clean and sanitary as a customer could wish.
- Speaking of cleanliness, there's all manner of cleaning equipment and general kitchen fixings needed.
- Ingredients! They're obvious, and they're going to be rendered inot something delicious.
- Packaging! A world of pretty boxes awaits.
- The boring bits- insurance, marketing, stationery, and all the random gubbins that make a business both viable and legal.
The Impact
Somewhere out there, someone's earned a treat and someone needs a little familiar comfort. Someone needs a gift that can't be bought in any shop, and someone needs something to look forward to. Someone needs to show how much they love someone, someone needs to liven up a gathering, and someone just really likes discovering new flavours.
I want to send chocolate to all the someones.
Other Ways You Can Help
Just because you can't spare the cash doesn't mean you can't help. All you have to do is tell everyone! Social networks, emails, gossiping in the queue for the bus, it's all good.
