About #MEAction and #MillionsMissing

The government's public health crisis may be officially ending, but for millions of people with ME, we are still sick and still fighting. 

ME/CFS affects millions of people across the globe. The majority of people with ME  developed it after infection. They have been sick, and missing from the lives they deserve to live.

Today, millions more with Long COVID now have ME and are facing these same challenges that people with ME have faced for decades: poor medical care, no FDA-approved treatments, and little societal support. Those not recovering after a COVID-19 infection represent a public health crisis, with consequences for all: and the problem is getting bigger every day. 

#MEAction is a 501(c)3 that fights for people with ME and Long COVID all year long. We are making strides- with the press, general public, and even with public research dollars. BUT THIS IS OUR MOMENT to keep the attention and INCREASE the research dollars, access to care and treatment that we all deserve.
