Moss Hill Farm Project started as
a collaboration of like minded individuals who want to share their passion for
positively impacting the planet. The goal is to empower people toward
sustainability by stimulating interest in biodiversity and eco-independence.
The plan is to build an eco-village and eco-business center based on several
business entities. These include a commercial fishery, a brew pub/restaurant,
an organic greenhouse farm and a performing arts center. If you’re curious
about the technologies being implemented, please feel free to ask, we’ll be
available to answer any questions you might have! (And it’ll be so much FUN! We love talking about this stuff!)
Moss Hill Farm Project will serve as a blueprint for anyone interested in
implementing “Positive Impact Neo-Farming”.
The first step in the plan is to start with the fishing boat. We have a very specific one in mind, and would love talking to anyone about it. (We've got tons of pictures!) Our Captain, Eric Waite, has been in the fishing industry since 1986 and has developed ideologies that could change the face of what we consider commercial fishing. His focus aligns with taking care of the planet and our natural resources for sustainability, and a healthy diet!
This is the focus of this campaign. It is intended to provide the equity position for building the Farm and the brew pub/restaurant, as well as the theater, and will allow us to actually pay our employees while we build the community. The boat we are talking about is $365,000.00 and the permit for commercial fishing is $90,000.00. Plus, we'll have insurance for the boat, and transportation vehicles for the seafood, and the funds for the initial trips. All this is outlined in our spread sheet for the fishing aspect of Moss Hill Farm Project and can be made available to view if you'd like that sort of detail.
With our boat in the water and our net in the sea, we can harvest the thoughts that can lead us to who we were meant to be!
By helping us with this campaign you'll be planting a powerful seed that may indeed lead to the change in the fishing industry that we so very much need right now. Our techniques may not be popular yet, but our focus on taking care of the planet and our commitment to biodiversity and sustainability is second to none! Co-creating along with Nature in everything we do, not only helps the planet, but will enhance every life we touch with our products and our service.
