Welcome to our epic Indieagogo campaign!!!
My name is Brian Fire and I am the creator of this ambitious
project. I have worked in entertainment for over 20 years. In that time
I have worked on Toy and Video Game projects, Feature Films,
Commercials and TV Shows. I am very passionate about Comics, Video
Games, Animation, Feature Films, TV Shows and more specific...Asian
Cinema!
Working as a freelance writer and visual fx artist has given me a
very interesting perspective. I started
developing Ninja Rain - Tale of the Seven, because to me, there was not enough comics representing the type of content I love and grew up
reading and watching...Martial Arts! With Me (Brian Fire - Writer), the talented (Victor Lopez - illustration/inks) and the amazing (Satine Zillah - Colorist) on this graphic novel together...heads are guaranteed to roll! We plan to
bring it!
This project is not only about raising money...it's about bringing a
unique graphic novel to life and fueling a passion for Martial Arts content. Having you help us breathe life into this project allows us to do it
the way it was conceived. Going the conventional road to financing can
be very laboring and you end up giving away your soul. You can help us
get this project off the ground and put us in a great position for publishing and more. You will be helping us make history!

After
being exiled, Aiko found himself staring at the corpses of the two
people he loved most in this world and his home engulfed in flames. In
one day, he became a Ronin, a widower and a broken parent. It wasn't
enough that his emperor sent him into exile...he had to steal his future
as well. After burying his wife and son, he headed North and began a
new trade...full-time drunk.
Hachiro, found himself being
sentenced to death for botching a mission with a fellow Ninja he had
affections for. Instead of waiting for his sentence to be carried out,
he chose to run. With no home to return to...he soon found refuge at
every brothel he stumbled into.
When these two broken warriors found one another, it was while under
the spell of liquid spirits. While sober, both were forced to relive
their past and deal with how deep the pain inside them truly was. This
lead to more drinking, deeper sorrow and ultimately...them entering into
a pact. They agreed to drink themselves to death.
It was one full year after Aiko and Hachiro entered their agreement...then opportunity knocked. Her name was Mika Z.
She was a beautiful and skilled warrior...with a gift to die for.
The glowing charm she wore around her neck allows her to generate
throwing darts...made of pure energy. It is this gift and the fact that
her six sisters share the same charm, that has everyone looking for
them! When Mika is in close quarters with her sisters, they become a
unit of destruction known as...THE SEVEN. Together they can summon
thousands of these energy darts and wreak havoc upon soldiers, villages
and even kingdoms.
When Aiko and Hachiro accidentally liberate Mika, they set themselves
up for far more than they bargained for. When they find out the
powerful sorcerer / warrior The Alchemist, is looking for her, they
reluctantly find themselves taking on a new title...PROTECTORS! With a
war already being waged across the land, if this power were to fall into
the wrong hands...the young kingdoms could become a scorched wasteland.
In this seedy landscape where just about anything is possible, this
trio must somehow reunite Mika with her sisters and avoid being captured
or killed along the way. Their adventure begins here!

To guarantee the success of this project, we have broken it down into
steps to reach our ultimate goal. Each phase successfully funded places us in a better position
to not only get our graphic novel complete...but to line up other possibilities for this unique project.

The Graphic Novel - We are looking to raise $47,150 to
produce a high quality 60 page Graphic Novel. We are currently 6 pages into that task
and marching forward.
Breakdown of funds:
• Illustration / Ink /Color - $22,000
• Administrative – $15,000
• Kirkus Review – $425
• Print advertising – $1,575
• Events / Conventions / Launch party – $1,000
• Website – $1,000
• 15% contingency - $6,150
Should we be blessed with surpassing this stated goal...all extra funds will go into fulfilling perks and towards the TV series we are developing. This is a franchise in the early stages and with your help we hope to see it go the whole distance.

Making
it to our goals even with funding comes with a set of challenges and
risks. We are prepared to meet those challenges...the team does it
daily. Brian Fire has carefully selected industry veterans with proven
track records to be a part of this team. Should we not make it to our goals on this campaign, our contributors
should know this team is comprised of a group of working professionals
who have agreed to make this project happen. We will continue to try and
fund this endeavor, so launching other campaigns is also a possibility.
Not today doesn't mean not ever...it just means not today.
We are also developing a TV series!!!!
