Let us start by saying how inspired we were by all the great responses
we received to our G Mama Productions page over the last few weeks, and how
much we appreciate each and every one of you.
After years of work in music
and film we are about to release our first professional product, a 4-minute
Sizzle Reel to be used to pitch a family reality show primarily based on the
new generation of Pointers pursuing a professional career in the music
industry. Those of you who have been
following our online series The Flipside on Facebook know of the extensive work
we have put in gathering material and footage in search of a provocative family
storyline that works. After a successful
meeting last week, we now have all the information we need to proceed.
The Pointer Sisters are
synonymous with 80’s Pop but no one knows about the sister who started it
all. Nor does anyone know about the slew
of talent in the new generation. We will
present you with a look inside the lives of the Pointers through the next
generation, the history the The Pointer Sisters, and their click (NVSBL GVNG)
as they create music both as individual artists and a collective.
It won’t be without
opposition because their collective dreams could easily be torn apart by
competing egos, individual desires for solo success, or failure to navigate the
rough waters of an ever changing record industry. There’s always drama with this crew, cameras
or not, and it’s a guarantee they won’t go down without a fight! They “Lit” got
the talent ~ Stay fit - got that swag ~ and putting in work to make their
musical dreams become reality.

As Independent producers/artists
we will be working with a very tight budget of $15,000.00. While we plan on working to get funds through
other means as well, the bulk of the funding will come through the INDIEGOGO
campaign, so that our following can truly feel a part of this movement we are
creating. Prizes and perks will be

will help pay for camera equipment/crew, an editor, talent, set location, and post
