Hello! I am 'Princess Nightmare.' A small accessories company making our way back to NYCC (New York Comicon) this year! But we need a little bit of help! Throughout the year we have worked on some new and wonderful things. We currently sell handmade one of a kind and commissionable Swarovski crystal shoes and purses along with custom and one of a kind Monster High dolls! We also sell small accessories like movie related jewelry. We LOVE fandoms! Most of what we do and sell are based on our favorite and other popular nerdy fandoms.
The fundraiser is designed through a rewards system mostly consisting of cosplay photos as originally the company was started by and run by one person (Katia) and the initial page was for cosplay photos. Since then a business has grown. Chris joined as a partner this year and all bags, shoes, and dolls are customized by hand.

Hi!! I am Katia. Or Kate. Or Katie. Or as most of you know me Princess Nightmare. I am not spectacular with words so forgive me for this. If you have known me a really long time you know me as a friend, if you have known me for a few years you know me as a cosplayer, if you have known me only a couple years you may know me as a cosplayer half a costume company, if you have only known me for a couple months you know the huge new part of my life which is my custom accessories design (including Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, other Literary references, and other nerdy custom accessories as well as custom bridal shoes and accessories). I am not going to sit here and give you the sob story of stuff that has happened to me in the past. I hate when people do that. There is no reason for it. This is about the future. My entire life I have dreamed big but big dreams have to start small. I am an artist, I am creative and ambitious-and the next step in my life is to make things happen.
This is it, it has been my dream since I was 5 years old to run my own company. I have been in partnerships, I have held key roles in other independent companies but it is time for it to be my own. Products I make, things I do. Time to make my own dreams come true.
So! Why donate and What do you get?
Our goal is what we need to get to NYCC
A lot of you have met us at NYCC in the past or seen us at Steampunk World's Faire. We no longer have backers or partner companies we are all on our own now! We are very excited but NYCC is our big event and it costs a fair bit. So, we need your help to raise the funds to get back to NYCC!!
*Please note this is not for cosplay. The rewards are cosplay related because of the community we generate the most attention from, however this is not a fundraiser to cosplay at a convention it is for a small business of fandom and custom nerdy accessories.
We were hoping to only have to do this last year but starting anew takes time so one more go at fundraising for NYCC. I hate asking people for money. This is my exception, I am determined to get back to continue on the fantastic path we have started!
Now for the Reward System!! This is the important part right! What do you get for helping us out! So, here we go! A lot of people on the Facebook page have been asking me to sell photos/signed/personalized cosplay photos…so here it is! This is your chance to get those photos you have been asking about!! Some you have seen before if you have been on the page, and this time MANY are exclusive to this fundraiser!
Other rewards include products we make and other things. You can read more about it if/when you are ready to make a contribution!
If we don't reach our entire goal-the funds still go towards the convention. It will make it either slightly or significantly more difficult depending on how short we fall of the goal, but no matter what all funds go towards the convention. In all honesty we are terrified of not reaching my goal. However, If for some reason we do manage to exceed the goal we will add some more things to our standard inventory as there have been a lot of requests lately! :-) As well as sending out extra perks to anyone that donated!!
ALL US SHIPPING IS FREE!
Unfortunately shipping will be added on for perks being mailed internationally :-( We are terribly sorry about this but it's the cost of postage. SHIPPING TO THE US IS FREE!
Photos are glossy 8.5x11 (or close to 8.5x11 some are slightly off in dimension because they are more square etc but most are 8.5x11 and all will be printed on 8.5x11 paper). All prints will be signed!

If we hit our goal there will be extra perks sent out to everyone. On the off chance we EXCEED the goal everyone will get a few extra perks! If you donated for a digital perk you will get an extra bonus digital perk, if you donated for a print you will get an extra exclusive print, etc! :-)
