National Asian Artists Project (NAAP) presents OLIVER!
Over the last 4 years NAAP has presented Oklahoma, Carousel and Hello Dolly as part of their Re-Discover Series. This year we move across the pond to the London of Charles Dickens with the production of OLIVER!
The aim of NAAP is to showcase the work of Asian-American theatre artists through performance, outreach and educational programming. The Re-Discover series is one of the ways we fulfill this mission.
OLIVER! has a cast of 65 members made up of 20 children, 25 professional actors and 20 members of the NAAP Broadway Community Chorus. This production will be fully staged, with sets, props, costumes, the works! As a result it is monumental undertaking and we need your support to help make it a reality.
We need your support!
We need to raise a minimum of $10,000 in order to help cover the expenses associated with this production such as the theatre and rehearsal space, costumes, set, production crew and of course our actors.
We are offering a variety of benefits based on the giving level. Some of these benefits include:
- Shout Out on NAAP's Facebook page
- Shout Out on NAAP's Twitter account
- Acknowledgement on the NAAP website
- Signed OLIVER! postcard from Baayork Lee
- Signed OLIVER! poster from Baayork Lee & cast

- Passes to the Opening Night Cast Party
- and more ...
Your Support Matters
The work of NAAP is critical to the success of many Asian-American performers as it provided the opportunity for those performers to play roles that would otherwise not be available to them. This helps gives them the experience and confidence to succeed!
These projects are also critical to the success of our Educational Outreach programs. NAAP is able to introduce children to the world of musical theatre not only in a classroom setting but on the stage and in front of audiences. These opportunities have inspired many children to continue to pursue involvement in the performing arts. For others it has opened their eyes to a world that would otherwise gone unnoticed.
Please help us continue our pursuit to give a voice to our Asian-American community.
