Pearly Chung was amazing. You name it, she was it! Beautiful, talented, angelic, musical, athletic, loyal, smart, God-loving/fearing, true, graceful, authentic, dynamic, lovely, the best of a person, and among the greatest of friends, the list goes on.

On September 20, 2003, at the delicate age of 16, Pearly was tragically killed in a car accident. Her death has left a tremendous impact on our local community. Pearly, or Ngoc as her dear friends and family called her, was extremely loved by her parents, sister, and family as well as classmates, teammates, and church friends, and by all who had the privilege of meeting and knowing her.

Please join us in creating a lasting legacy to commemorate Pearly’s life. The intention of this fundraiser is to collect funds to endow a scholarship in her name, honoring her memory and the love we all had for this beautiful, faithful, energetic, beloved daughter, sister, and friend. With this scholarship, we hope to inspire Palo Duro High School (PDHS) students to reach their full potential and continue their education to college and beyond.

Our goal is $10,300, as this would allow us to endow a scholarship in her name, starting this year and continuing for many years to come.
