ECO Club

The Environmental Change Organization (ECO Club) is a student run club affiliated with Portsmouth High School, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.  The club's mission is to work as a group to create a more sustainable school and community.  Fueled by the power of over 50 students, we have embarked on our most ambitious endeavor to date: to install solar panels at the high school.  The ultimate goal of our club is to create a healthy, high performance environment that can serve as a model for other schools in New Hampshire. 

Donations and Benefits

We need at least $5,000.00 to launch our effort.  When we meet this goal, installation of solar panels will begin. Our hope is for installation to start on Earth Day (April 22nd) 2013.

The Sell-A-Cell program will start with a Kick-Off on January 29th at FlatBread Pizza Company in Portsmouth, N.H.

We are asking for $5.00 donations, the equaivalent of one cell of a solar panel. Individuals who purchase a panel for $300.00 will receive recogniction, as their names will be placed on the panel!

You may purchase as many cells or panels as you wish!  

Purchase 5 cells and we will send you an eco-friendly shopping bag and we will send you a t-shirt designed by our very own Portsmouth High School Students.

For everyone who contributes, no matter how big or how small, we will be sending you a certificate in the mail.  You will also have the satisfaction of knowing that you helped work toward a more sustainable future.

The Impact

The ECO Club has been working deligently toward reaching its goal for over five years. By contributing to this cause, YOU are helping all of us cut down on the use of fossil fuels.  This is a project that will continue to grow and raise awareness about the use of renewable resources. Please help us bring Solar Energy to Portsmouth High School!
