Plot summary
It's March 14, 2016 and a serial killer is on the loose in a small Ohio town. The students of Euclid High fear for their lives as their classmates disappear, falling victim to this elusive murderer. With the help of Euclid High's math teacher, Mr. Douglas, Detectives Mahoney and Beecher find clues to solving this circle of bloodshed.
What we need and why
Pie Day Die Day is the first film produced by One Stoplight Productions. We are seeking funding to enhance the quality of this film. With the $5,000 that we are looking to raise, we will purchase equipment necessary to make Pi Day Die Day look and sound flawless, as well as to pay location costs,local musicians for their contributions, local hair and makeup artists, and our cast and crew for their time.
If we earn more, we will begin talking stretch goals for us and stretch rewards for contributors.

Oh... one more thing. Pi Day Die Day screenwriter, L2, can be convinced to pose in a certain slave girl costume from a certain movie that happened to premiere in 1983, return of something or another, not related to this movie.

A great horror movie excites our senses, gets our adrenaline going, and keeps us coming back for more. It makes us laugh at ourselves for jumping at the peak of suspenseful moments; it makes us watch carefully for clues as to who the antagonist may be. We share our favorite horror films with friends, and reflect with each other our favorite memories. Pi Day Die Day is good for your soul, and for the soul of society as a whole.
Honestly, we have a few risks...
The entirety of the film is planned to take place in Northwestern Ohio, a location wherein Mother Nature is the most bipolar. September can range anywhere from 90 degrees with unwavering sunshine and 100% humidity to 25 degrees with blizzard conditions. While the latter happens less often, outdoor scenes could be tricky. The location also can limit the amount of resources available to us including crew, equipment, and actors availability to travel to the location.
We are also on a limited budget, attempting to pull off this production with just $5k. However, Ohio is an extremely cost friendly state to the film industry!
But we will overcome!
One Stoplight Productions is teaming up with veteran company Cullen Park Productions, which gives us some resources with which to work. We have some equipment that will be made available to us, experienced crew members, and talented actors that have worked with Cullen Park in past productions. By donating to this campaign, you, the contributor also helps us overcome our limited budget constraints.
