What is the PiNAPoL? A Network Attached Processing System that will allow multiple microcomputers to work in tandem to process data, graphics, audio and video more quickly than todays hardware. Allowing for up to 12 Microcomputer modules (“Slivers”) to be inserted at the same time (allowing you to completely customize your system), and the ability to daisy-chain multiple PiNAPoL systems together, allows for Potentially Infinite upgrade possibilities. The main PiNAPoL System runs using Linux to provide all of the functionality, however the Slice can run on any mainstream operating system such as Windows, Mac or Linux!

What is the “Slice”? A Mini-Computer that sits on your desk/workspace that can replace the current computer with the ability to use your current peripherals (Mice/Keyboards/Monitors/Etc.). The Slice contains 1 slot for a Sliver to be inserted and can be tailored to your exact needs! These Mini- Computers are able to run on our own Linux OS, or any mainstream version of Linux, Windows, or Mac allowing you to get started into the technology without the worries of too much change!

The Slice comes standard with 8 GB of RAM, expandable to 32 GB. Simply Add a xPU Sliver and you have a fully functional high performance computer!

What are these “Slivers”? The Slivers are the brains of the computer system and come in a variety of flavors. Each Sliver serves a different purpose and can be combined in a PiNAPoL System in multiple different configurations. Below is a brief description of the Slivers and what they can offer you!

1. XPU Slivers – Contain 1 CPU/1 GPU or 1 CPU/3GPU and can be setup in multiple configurations based on if you need more processing power or more graphics power. These will use the Intel Atom CPU and the nVidia Tegra K1 GPU.

2. Storage Slivers – Contain 2 slots for m.2 SATA Solid State Storage Modules. Coming standard with 500 GB per Sliver, they are upgradable to 2 TB of storage per module.

3. Home/Office Automation Slivers – Used to connect to smart devices in the home allowing you to fully automate the process of turning on/off lights, enabling of disabling devices in the home, and also allows you to set it for vacation mode, which will (for example) turn on/off lights, TV, Radio, etc, to simulate activity in the home to deter intruders!

4. Home/Office Security Slivers – Contains a specially designed microphone which can detect the sounds of glass breaking, CO or Fire alarms going off, can notify you as well as the local e911 services in the even of fire or break-ins. These Slivers can talk to up to 16 wireless security cameras PER Sliver, giving you a great view of your home or office. If Paired with the home automation and GPS sliver, it can also notify police/fire personnel to your home, and even unlock smart locks on your doors in the event you are not home and a fire happens. This also notifies you on your BLADE or cell phone in the event of an emergency.

5. GPS Track & Trace Sliver - Can be used in the home or office to track cell phones, company vehicles, or notify e911 services (if paired with the security module) to allow emergency personnel to locate your home. This is great for keeping track of the kids, pets, vehicles, and also helps if you system is ever stolen, you can track it!

6. Professional Audio Sliver – Used specifically to allow users to plug-in additional audio equipment such as mix boards, as well as assist with rendering of audio tracks, creating songs, rendering CD-Audio, or creating blockbuster movie soundtracks!

7. Professional Video Sliver - Used to assist with everything from CAD, Graphics, and Video rendering allowing even the part time artist to begin working on animations or feature length films. There are ports available to plug in external equipment such as camcorders or other video devices which you may want to re-master media from (VHS to DVD for example).

Let's never forget about the B.L.A.D.E. - Our handheld control center allowing you full remote access to your PiNAPoL from anywhere in the world using 4G LTE and XLTE technologies, as well as having a higher level of alerts for security, system health, and allowing you to connect to your security system from afar and check in on your home or office!

That's not all this can do, it is also a cellular phone with some amazing features. For example, this device comes with a 720p DLP projector on the top of the phone as well as a stylus with a laser pointer, 18 MP camera, and starts with 128 GB of solid state storage, upgradable to 1.2 TB! Thats an amazing amount of storage and power right in the palm of your hand. This device will run on either our own Linux based OS, or Android and is powered by the nVidia Tegra K1 Processor!

HOW IT ALL WORKS: The very simple explanation of that is ... You can either start with just the Slice and a XPU Sliver and replace your current computer with newer technology, or you can jump right in and immerse yourself in the future RIGHT NOW!

By jumping to a larger setup, let's say "The Big Boy!" for example. You will receive 2 Slices, with the proper Sliver modules to make them run. You will also receive the PiNAPoL system, which then becomes your whole home/office server system with quite a lot of power. The PiNAPoL will be able to handle all of the networking functions you need such as;

Multiple Internet Connections, including the ability to bond them together for more speed OR offering more bandwidth for multiple users. This setup will also allow data to be sent from the Slices, to be processed much faster on the PiNAPoL and then sent back to the Slices as a finished product. These transactions take place in a fraction of the time compared to even top end gaming systems we have today!
