Mountain Filled 2 Projects Mountain Filled 2 Projects

We are undertaking an ambitious reforestation project in Santa Rosa de Runuya Ucayali, Porvenir Miraflores, Chuquisyunca, Cochas Alto, and Jacayhuanca, with the goal of planting 23 million trees over the next five years. With your help, we will restore these ecosystems, combat climate change, and generate sustainable employment and resources for vulnerable local communities.

What is Reforest Trees?

Reforest Trees is an initiative dedicated to planting trees and restoring forests in areas affected by deforestation. Our goal is to mitigate the effects of climate change, protect biodiversity, and support local communities.

The Problem

Deforestation is destroying ecosystems and significantly contributing to climate change. Each year, we lose millions of hectares of forests, resulting in biodiversity loss, soil degradation, and increased carbon emissions. Additionally, water scarcity in the Peruvian highlands exacerbates the challenges faced by local communities.

Our Solution

Our project will focus on planting 23 million trees in Santa Rosa de Runuya Ucayali, Porvenir Miraflores, Chuquisyunca, Cochas Alto, and Jacayhuanca, using sustainable methods and collaborating with local Shipibo and highland communities. These trees will help:

  • Absorb CO2 and mitigate climate change.
  • Protect biodiversity.
  • Restore habitats for local wildlife.
  • Improve soil and water quality.
  • Generate employment for vulnerable people in local communities.
  • Create sustainable resources like eco-friendly houses.
  • Implement water sowing and harvesting techniques in the Peruvian highlands.

Action Plan

Phase 1: Preparation

  • Identification of planting areas and native tree species: We will work with local biologists and ecologists to select the most suitable areas for reforestation and the best-adapted tree species. We have already selected the planting areas.
  • Formation and training of local teams: We will train community members in tree planting and care techniques.
  • Obtaining permits and collaborating with local organizations: We will collaborate with local governments and NGOs to ensure compliance with all regulations and maximize the project's impact.

Phase 2: Planting

  • Distribution and planting of 23 million trees: A massive planting campaign will be conducted, involving volunteers and local workers.
  • Creation of 20 nurseries: We will establish 20 nurseries in the reforestation areas to ensure a constant supply of seedlings.
  • Monitoring and care of planted trees during the first year: We will implement a monitoring system to ensure the survival and growth of the planted trees.
  • Implementation of water sowing and harvesting techniques: We will work in the Peruvian highlands to improve water management and support communities affected by scarcity.

Phase 3: Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Long-term monitoring of tree growth: We will monitor tree growth for the first five years to assess their impact.
  • Evaluation of the environmental and social impact of the project: We will conduct studies to measure the environmental and social benefits of the project.
  • Regular reports to sponsors: We will provide regular updates to our sponsors on the project's progress.

Budget

The funds raised will be used for:

  • Purchase of seedlings and planting materials: We will ensure a constant supply of seedlings and the necessary materials for planting.
  • Salaries for local workers: We will employ members of local communities to participate in planting and tree care.
  • Transportation and logistics costs: We will cover the costs related to transporting seedlings and equipment to the reforestation areas.
  • Monitoring and maintenance programs: We will implement programs to ensure the continuous care of the planted trees.
  • Development of sustainable infrastructure: Including the construction of eco-friendly houses for local communities.

Rewards

We want to thank our sponsors with a series of more relevant and attractive rewards:

  • $10: Thank you on our social networks and your name on our website as a sponsor.
  • $25: Digital certificate of project sponsorship and your name on a thank you mural in one of our nurseries.
  • $50: Plant a tree in your name, receive a photo and a personalized video of the planting process.
  • $100: Plant five trees in your name, receive a progress report and a thank you video from the local community.
  • $250: Eco-friendly kit with handmade products from local communities, along with exclusive project updates.
  • $500: Virtual tour of the reforestation area, a meeting with the team, and a special thank you in our progress reports.
  • $1000: Guided visit to the reforestation site (we cover travel expenses within Peru only), including eco-friendly accommodation and participation in community activities.

Team

Our team is composed of experts in reforestation, sustainability, and community work. It includes biologists, ecologists, and community leaders with years of experience in ecosystem restoration. We work closely with local Shipibo and highland communities to ensure lasting and significant impact.

Change starts with small actions. Join us at Reforest Trees and plant the seed for a greener and more sustainable future. Make your contribution today and help reforest our planet and empower local communities! If you can't donate, share it with your friends, on your social networks, and others.

With your support, we can make a real difference in the fight against climate change and deforestation. Join us and help us plant a better future!
