Summary

RE-volv is a non-profit organization that is growing the movement for community-based solar energy. By crowdfunding, RE-volv will finance community-based solar energy projects using a revolving fund called the Solar Seed Fund. The Solar Seed Fund pays for solar energy installations on local community centers like schools and non-profits.  The community centers pay RE-volv back over time through the savings on their electric bill. RE-volv reinvests the principal and the revenues it earns on each project into additional solar projects, creating a revolving fund in a pay-it-forward model.

What We Need & What You Get

RE-volv needs an additional $10,000 to finance the first community-based solar energy installation to get the revolving fund off the ground.  We've already raised $20,000. With $10,000 more we will be able to afford a $30,000 solar installation for a community-serving organization. This one installation will generate enough revenue to fund an additional three solar energy systems over time!

By supporting this campaign you have a number of amazing perks to choose from including access to events, a certificate or photo of the solar you helped install, and a choice of amazing books about solar energy and the future of environmentalism.

If we don’t reach our entire goal with this campaign, we will still use all of this money for the first solar energy project and your impact will still have the same multiplier effect.
