PERK: Contribute a Haiku/Limerick for the Book
I (Rob) long thought of myself as a left-brain-only guy, but about 10 years ago I started forcing myself to "exercise" my so-called right brain. Writing parody song lyrics. Quoting movies. And yes, haiku and limericks. This enhanced my enjoyment of life for sure, but also my professional capabilities. The right brain is a powerful weapon in our battle with data, because human beings are forever its focal point. And human beings love human things: warmth, humor, and softer edges make the data go down smoother.
Join me in this habit and have your work immortalized forever in a chapter dedicated to the powers of the underrated right brain. Write either a 5-7-5 syllable non-rhyming haiku or an A-A-B-B-A rhyming limerick, and we will also include your preferred "byline" attribution so that you get credit.

Risks & Challenges
Folks our minimum goal is $3,000 which would help offset the color printing costs. Our stretch goal is $20,000 which would cover the full cost of the print run.
We are choosing a flexible funding model on Indiegogo, so you will get your rewards even if we fall short of our funding goal. But you're not gonna let that happen, right!
We do face the risk that the book and therefore delivery of the perks would be delayed. Color printing is quite a bit more complicated process. We do have MrExcel (Bill Jelen) from Holy Macro Books in our corner, who is a book publishing veteran. However there may be unforeseen complications which could delay the publishing of this book. We will keep all contributors notified in such a contingency.
