Because Gui and Felipe wanted to know what happened to Punk Rock in their local scene, they got on board of a 23 days camping trip, backpacking through Europe, but once they got there they were faced with something else, and that was politics!
Politics and Punk Rock have always walked side by side. But can Punk Rock shape or influence a person's political view? For many, it serves as a political compass, especially with the current rise of fascism all over the globe. Some may even dare to say that it blooms when times are tough and scary. It had big waves in the past and now seems to be back stronger than ever.
You have probably been to a Punk Rock concert once or twice in your life, or many times, or were at least a bit curious to know what goes on in there. But these shows aren't only for fun and entertainment. It's also a celebration for its lifestyle, almost like a controlled rebellion where they can emerge all that anger inside in a safe, friendly environment. And the best of it all, it creates a sense of unity among people that can move mountains.
Even though people still have that vision of a punk rocker as that person with a mohawk, ripped pants and leather jackets with silver beads all over it, which is not a 100% wrong, Punk Rock has morphed itself almost entirely over the years. It doesn't matter how you dress, or how you comb your hair. It's about what it represents and its ideals. Punk Rock is more than a genre of music. It's a lifestyle; it's a movement; it's what unites them.
Moreover, we're all so distracted and have been misled so many times by our politicians and leaders that we see ourselves without knowing what to believe. This documentary works as a guide to people open their eyes and ears with a good dose of fearless good old Punk Rock.
Join us in this chaotic rhythm of this endless dance and let's provoke some change!

All collaborators will be equally appreciated.

Filming Punk'n'Politics was not an easy task. There was a lot of going around from point A to point B carrying heavy bags. We took planes, buses, rode with strangers and even got some of our stuff stolen. Some camping sites had locations for us to charge our equipment, but some barely anything. We had to improvise quite a lot.
On the bright side though, we made some fantastic friends, visited incredible locations which made the trip an even more unforgettable experience. We hope we were able to transfer our adventurous trip into this documentary.
