The Coolest Cats in Town!
PURR is Boston’s very first cat café!
It was founded by Diane Kelly, after years of working in the medical field helping hoomans.
Our goal is to be open by late August 2017, but there's still lots to do, so we're asking for your help!
PURR Cat Cafe will be a safe haven for homeless cats until they find their forever home. While they are at Purr, we will offer a safe, healthy, ultimate playground for all of our feline friends. We are also working diligently to provide a great environment for us hoomans to enjoy as well, with fantastic events and delicious food and drink!
What We Need
We are asking for $40,000 to finish up the final details so we can open our doors.
$40,000 will help us to:
- Purchase all of the cat supplies we need: toys, litter boxes, brushes, scratching posts, the whole nine lives.. I mean yards!
- Finish furnishing the space with comfy cozy furniture for you and the cats to hang out on!
- Set up our point-of-sale and sound systems.
- Pay our dedicated and professional staff!
- Pay the talented individuals who have offered to host fantastic events like Cat Yoga, and get the supplies we need to make them happen!
- Purchase all of the miscellaneous items we need like cleaning and office supplies.
- And help us cover any other unexpected expenses that may arise as we make the final push to open to the public!
Note: Any perks that have swag and admission, you may pick up your items during your visit!
Any perks that are only swag will be shipped directly to you.
Risks & Challenges
PURR has already overcome many of the obstacles that have sadly forced other cat cafes to close. We're in the home stretch now and just need that final push. Build out is complete, we're hiring staff, and the cats are ready to come and play! Check out some of these photos of our PAWSOME space!
