Quest for CASI level 3 snowboard instructing
After 2 years following the winter, doing back to back seasons I have managed to save up all the money I needed to go this 2017 Winter season to Canada//Banff to get my CASI level 3 done.
Unfortunately for me all my money went to unexpected high medical bills, due to a sport injury (Broke my collarbone last March 2017). And my surplus money went for assisting immediate family members in severe need.
So I am turning myself to my friends all over the WORLD to help me achieve my professional goals.
NOW let me explain to you:
I have been training and studying for the past year to get ready physically and mentally for this incredible exam. CASI or The Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructor is the best training institution for me, and I have been very happy to be apart of it. There are 4 levels that certify the ability to teach people how to snowboard, level 1 and 2 for teaching beginners to advanced level. Then you have level 3, which is the level that confirms your passion and dedication to this industry. You become able to teach advanced riders and you become teacher trainer! Or at least a rookie teacher for your first years working in ski schools and that's what I'm all about.
I'd love to keep doing my levels so I'll become one of the few girls in the world having their level 4 and be a full time instructor in the CASI system.
I understand many of you may think that I could work doing something else to get that money back again but unfortunately most of my savings have already been invested in this QUEST. Also as in my future plans to go work at Falls Creek in Australia next June 2018, where I have the best winter job with true professionals, I will only be able to do this by being sponsored for a Working Visa, and for that the level 3 is required and to follow my very good friend Judith Gilbert "Get your certification as soon as possible, as fast as possible, as young as possible"
At this point I have my lift pass for Sunshine Village for this winter ($1040CAN) and have bought my flights for Canada ($675). But all I had saved up for this is gone, and I need to raise money for paying my accommodation and paying my courses and exams at the end of January.
$639.00 / Exams $259.00 / Retest $92.00 per component
$3300.00 for rent for 6 months.
= $4200.00 canadian dollars.
I know it seems impossible, but I'm willing to try everything and I believe you all can help me make this dream come true.
