The Bouy Bar Waterfront Grill & Scotty's Fishing Station in Point Lookout NY  traces its community roots back to the family tradition started with Robert & Lucy Chisolm in 1929. At that time you were only able to rent rowboats. When their son Andrew came home from the Navy, him and his wife Elizabeth took over the business and added engines to the rowboats to reach the best fishing spots!

The family business expanded in 1980 when daughter Roberta and her husband Tom Doheny took over the helm of Scotty's. Tom and Roberta expanded the fleet and services offered at Scotty's. Their five children Thomas, Peter, Jeane, Andrew and Matthew and their spouses are all members of the crew that runs Scotty's and the adjacent Buoy Bar Grill today. Ready to step aboard as deckhands are the eight grandchildren Jamie, Thomas, Kevin, Sarah, Brendan, Riley, Avery and Andrew.

Despite the severe impact left by Hurricane Sandy, the family hopes the business can continue to serve local residents and visitors from around the globe for generations to come.

The family is working hard to restore the buildings and equipment damaged by Hurricane Sandy and to re-open in the Spring of 2013. Any donation made through this site will go DIRECTLY to those efforts. When re-opened, you will be able to once again come down and enjoy the community of friends and families that make this place so special for all.
