Our Story
In collaboration with Incubion (a Japan-based startup focused on social robots), I have promoted and socialized the culture of robots for more than five years. Giving shape to what we denominate ‘robot-mediated experience design.’
- We have joined panel sessions highlighting robotic solutions' value to varied industries.
- We have designed installations where people and robots interact while performing specific tasks. Founding an image of how much this interplay could enhance our day-to-day.
- We have brainstormed with families and institutions about how robotic solutions grant a better quality of life. As well as improve the efficiency of tech-supported activities.
COVID times demonstrated that, although we share a sense of cooperation and welfare, non-human assisted technologies can guarantee the safety of our close ones.
In those times, robots became the most suitable solution to bring into hospitals, care homes, supermarkets, and offices. Yet: - Where to start searching? What kind of robot would fit specific needs? How to get it running? How would it affect the surroundings?
Robot Atta! was born to make robot literacy accessible to everyone. A place where creators, researchers, service providers, as well as institutions, media, families, and local governments, explore, understand, and learn from today’s world of robotics.
With Robot Atta! We offer more than high-level specs on complex robots for a selected group of industries. We empower all kinds of users to kick off their own ‘robot awareness’ path. And when the opportunity arises, make meaningful implementations by keeping business partners within reach.
Today we want to share two big achievements:
- Robot Atta! Will be out this summer. Turning our ideas into a tangible solution, increasing robot literacy, and building community.
- Robot Atta! Will be at Collision 2023. One of the world's biggest tech conferences. A place to discover the future of tech while exchanging ideas with the best and brightest in the industry. An opportunity to share our views on human-robot interaction and the visualization of future scenarios.
We want to continue our journey by sharing the growth, learnings, and achievements of our ‘robot-mediated experience design’ initiatives and being Robot Atta! Our latest and most significant milestone.
