A Psychological Drama/Thriller about a young woman struggling to gain the courage to leave her relationship, with having her life on the line.
About the Director
Daniel Mutton was born and raised in Peterborough, England and is now currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Digital Cinema and Video Production at The Art Institute of California - Hollywood, USA. His passion for film began at a young age when he was training as a professional dancer. Curious to learn more about life on the other side of the lens, he picked up a camera and began to experiment with different techniques for film, thus growing his interest in the Avant-Garde. As he moved to America to pursue his career in film, he wanted to combine the avant-garde aspects that he had learned in England, together with the linear/narrative style to film making. Since being in California, he's Directed a number of films, both narrative and experimental.
Outcomes
With SAJA, we hope to achieve the following:
- To showcase a new and different perspective on abusive relationships within different cultures.
- To submit this film into local, national and international film festivals from 2015 - 2016
- To grow as a team through this journey, learning something new with each step we take.
