In early 2023, we set out to produce a film called STREET SWEEPER, but a major health issue has William Lee headed to surgery. In the meantime, plans were made to resurrect a project 30 years in the making Originally titled ENDANGERED SPECIES, we are now embarking on a film called
WALKING ON SCORCHED EARTH
This film was originally PLANNED BEFORE Street Sweeper, BUT WE WERE UNABLE TO GET ADEQUATE FINANCING. But we're stubborn, and quite frankly--NO DISRESPECT TO the STREET SWEEPER project- the scope and style of this film are more fitting to the legacy of Cinema Lexzikon.
The story of ENDANGERED SPECIES/ WALKING ON SCORCHED EARTH is simple. The last of his kind is hunted by aliens who want his species to die.
It's a first-time sci-fi project for Cinema Lexzikomn, borne out of William Lee's lifelong interest in the universe, and what's out there that we don't know about. All sparked by his love of the original STAR TREK TV. series.
